The Cozy Corner

I love the banter on the threads.
Feeling welcome despite how weird I might feel.
Being introverted in r/l I can escape here... Get to know people and be more open if that makes sense.
The chats and laughs from some really lovely friends I've made here.
Seeing a DM from someone special 🥰

Think that's about covered it 🤣

Morning all 😊

Pours EyesOnHers the AMOC roasted Wilton Benitez Pink Bourbon he reserved from yesterday. It's served in an art deco mug.

You must be needing a filter after all that. Here's one I've been enjoying lately. Notes of peach and passionfruit nectar.

One of my favourite cocktails ever, the bramble is made with it.

It's 3:2:1 of gin, lemon juice and simple syrup and then as much Chambord as syrup. Garnish with a chain of blackberries on an ornate pick.
I wish I cocktails were kind to me but they leave me with a hangover. I always seem to have one more than I should.

Better than from a drop coffee maker not as good as from pour over ..... Otherwise you'd probably need @Nylonian to really articulate it
I think the best coffee I have had was "Puerto Rican" coffee, it is made with the coffee in a "sock" that is put in the water. My girl friend made it and now I wish I had paid attention, to the coffee!

Good reminder to add Chambord to my shopping list 😊
I'd add St.Germain (Hugo spritz), Aperol (Aperol spritz)and Ramazzotti Rosato (Ramazzotti spritz) to that list. Then you can really alternate your Prosecco drinks. :)
The ratios are the same for all. 5cl liquor, 10cl Prosecco and a splash of soda water. For Hugo spritz garnish with mint leaves, Aperol spritz a slice of orange and Ramazzotti spritz basil leaves.

My own favorite among those are Ramazzotti spritz!

I'm partial to the Aperol spritz myself. Probably because of my lineage.
