We get whispy fog here sometimes, I love it. But very rare to see thick, heavy fog.

it was pretty thick, actually - it's starting to thin out a little but it's not lifting yet
I almost wish I had somewhere to go this morning so I could stop by the lake and take a picture - I bet it's pretty there

I totally would except I'm already working a short day for something else this afternoon - if not for that, I totally would have dropped little at school and kept going toward the lake for a bit!

Yes the great lakes in the mornings are so serine (I run a couple of races that start off lake eerie)

YES! I know exactly what you mean - I love that too. The fog kind of holds everything in, like the sounds don’t travel as far. It’s quiet, but not empty. Just feels calm in a really nice way.
