That is a shame. I ice skated before I ever went to ski on snow. My instructer insisted I must have skied before but I hadn't.

I recall one job I had. The boss was a sticker on being there on time. If I got in by 9:10 they thought I was early.

Not this year but most years I do a team orienteering competition MLK weekend ..... Which is my full year worth of snow hiking usually (but it is really fun)

Love hiking in the winter. It's hard but fun especially if you can get to a place before everyone else, like the skiers, snowshoers.
Skiing is expensive and we couldn't afford that, still can't.

Yes....before it becomes a dirty slushy slick mess. It's soooo quiet too with the snow like that.

Skiing is expensive and we couldn't afford that, still can't.

When we lived in Colorado I did some skiing but yes it's pricey. I wish I'd taken more advantage of living out there.
