Stay safe. Storms are moving into my area now. Meanwhile I’m enjoying a buffalo trace and the cooler temps since my AC is not working right now.I'm in my basement. Tornado warning in effect. Sounds like the actual tornado is south of me a bit.

Tots are best cooked in a pan with oil and mashed to hash browns with sweet onion.
If you have one put them in a cast iron pan in the oven or use broil if you're using a baking sheet, but watch them close if you use broil.I made a batch of tots tonight just in the oven and they just don’t get crispy enough to be good … maybe ina pan with oil they would

I don't use ketchup either, I dip in honey mustardI have air fried them in the oven and that’s not that bad
I don't use ketchup either, I dip in honey mustardif I'm making tots, but I still think they make better hash browns when you mash em up.
Broil will get tots super crispy, though.
Restaurants have those special industrial ovens though. I have a friend who works in a restaurant kitchen, those things are turned on early and never really stop so they get super hot.We have a local bar that does amazing loaded tots and I just can’t figure out what they do

About the only thing that goes with beerYeah that must be it … plus most fried food goes well with ice cold beer
That does sound delish! There's a restaurant in town that makes their own tater tots. They're round and the size of a golf ball, but they have bacon bits and cheese mixed into the shredded potatoes.......They're pretty good!

I don't like beer and don't drink it often.
