What made them so good? I don’t think I’ve ever had Shake Shack… it just didn’t seem worth the line.

The quality of the ingredients (at least in LA) and the balance of flavours.

Further to this...I live in quite a small town, close to a major city. We have what I firmly believe is the worst McDonalds in the country. Want a milkshake? Tough, that fuckers been bust for over a year. Want your fries with salt? Apparently there's a shortage. Want your fries warm? Hard luck.

Once I went in and got a Big Mac meal, THERE WAS NO FUCKING PATTY IN THE BUN!
