Understood! That is why I always set up the coffee the night before. What maniac tries to make coffee before drinking a coffee?!

I have a Keurig so I set it up the night before and the cup is in place too. All I have to do is push the button. When I was working i had a drip coffee maker and set it up on a timer so I could smell it as I walked up and poured the first cup! Almost heaven!

I admire your pre-planning efforts. In retirement I have gone to grinding whole beans then a drip so there is more effort required.
