The Cozy Corner

Don't use obedience collars on dogs though. They don't deserve it and there are better ways to train them
My mate got one so wanted to test it on himself first as wasn't sure about using it on his dog. And yeah we all tried.
So it then became the go to party thing.

It was never used on the dog though... just a bunch of stupid humans

Never did the dog collar thing but when I'm told, "Stop being a little bitch and try it," before zapping myself with a taser? There's a reason tequila and I are best friends...

My dad did some electrical work around my sister's house recently and used a tool he called a Sissy Stick to test if the wire was live.

Apparently it's unmanly to take appropriate steps to avoid electrocuting oneself just in case you were wondering why men don't live as long 🙄

I’ve used Sissy Sticks when hiking…..they must work as I’ve never been hit by lightning. ⚡

Manly men bounce a screwdriver against it to see if it sparks, and how far…see also fun with car batteries…

This has been A Man Service announcement

Well, for the really, really, really big stuff the stick is very much a real tool… but that’s more of a “I know it’s live and if it sparks anything too close by will vaporize” than a “is it live” sort of thing.

We don’t do the best job teaching young men (or anyone tbh) about what is genuinely dangerous with electricity. That and magnets. Magnets are absolutely terrifying when they get in the wrong places
