The Cozy Corner

UK set honey is a thick, spreadable, and creamy honey, often produced by natural crystallization (like Spring or Rapeseed honey) or by mechanically "creaming" liquid honey. It is popular for not dripping off toast and typically features a pale color, mild flavor, and smooth texture

EDIT: This was Google BTW. I claim no expert honey knowledge

Was this at a county fair?
I need to visit one, though I can already feel my heart drafting a resignation letter at the thought.
Yes it was. There was whole line of deep fried heart attacks on a stick. My husband tried every single one the first time and I was just thinking of all the wonderful things his life insurance money was going to get me 🤣

The way I do the state fair is in a big group. That way you can try little bits of lots of stuff and not feel too wasteful.

Except for the funnel cake. Daisy doesn't share funnel cake. 🤭

Well... I may or may not have ordered some creamy honey. Who knew?
There used to be something we could buy at the grocery store - my mom used to buy it. It was more of a canister style and yellow... I remember the container in my mind perfectly. It was a spreadable honey and so delicious. I'm wondering if it's the same?

Oh Waffle House, how I love thee!

A favorite Waffle House story:

We went out drinking in college (don't they all start this way?) and all night we'd joked that we should have said it was someone's birthday so we could get free food.

We all crammed into a corner booth and were laughing and having a good time. An older gentleman (who was probably younger than I am now 😳) overhead part of our conversation, thought it was someone's birthday and bought us a pecan pie.

We didn't know what else to do, so we sang happy birthday to Karla, thanked him and offered him a slice. 😂😂😂
