Terry
He looked to her and he smiled.
“I have just had a string of bad luck is all, crossed the wrong guilds and they sent that Flayer after me. Henchmen of the Third Kind is the guild name.”
He than heard her request and he looked a bit shocked.
“Well..uhh.umm .I…uhh..I..”
He blushed, never did he think she would say something like that. He suddenly looked at her and he threw himself out of the room. He looked to her and made his voice sound like a old mother’s voice.
“How dare you intrude on a Elven Goddess and to think you could kiss her… how rude!”
He sounded pretty good, he than slicked his hair out of his face and he ran away. When you turned and looked to your bed, you saw a white rose laying on your pillow and for some odd reason, you knew Terry left it there.
Terry back in his room.
He looked to himself in the small mirror.
“Damn it, I am not supposed to be getting involved with a goddess here, I am turning weak around her. For I am not Terry, I am “D”, leader of the strongest merc army in the lands.”
He than looked to himself again.
“But it wouldn’t hurt to have someone love him for him and not the power that was behind his fist. If she didn’t know, than she wouldn’t have to fear him, well at least I don’t think she would fear me.”
He smacked himself and walked out of his room to the bar. The inn keeper looked to him and shook his head.
Terry: “Keep em coming.”
He tossed him a bag of gold coins and the inn keeper only smiled, as he got him a large mug of ale, it wasn’t long before Terry was drowning his problems away with the ale, he would soon forget about all of this and pass out.
“What could I do for her anyways, only hold her back… maybe I should just leave this place and be gone…”
He looked to the innkeeper, who only shrugged. Terry stood up and checked to make sure he had everything and he walked to the door, but he looked back behind him.
“Once I walk out this door, it is Goodbye forever Ryssa, for Terry is gone. I wont look back. Thank you again… my love…”
He again dropped a white rose at the doorstep and he walked out, headed towards the darkness of the vile wilderness, where Grotes was watching him and soon he would summon the demon back to kill him, hopefully before he got back to where he met his army.
“She’s all yours Terrance, you two were meant for eachother…”
He looked to her and he smiled.
