The Dragon Wars

Brazous

Brazous follows Lwentlach back to his own den. Lwentlach entered before, with Brazous sneaking up to the door. He looks inside and sees Lwentlach all by himself. He enters the dwelling, asking Lwentlach if he may be able to answer a question that he had about Oldwings abdication. Lwentlach nodded his head, allowing Brazous closer. As soon as Brazous was less than a body length away, he distracted Lwentlacht pointing out the window. While Lwentlach was looking , Brazous got his arm around his neck, pressing his sharp claws to his throat. He allowed his polymorph to relax to show his true self.

Trembling with fear at this unexpected attack, Lwentlach took a good look at his assailant. "YOU, what are you doing here? You are supposed to be in exile with your good for nothing father. "

"Well, I am here good sir to get the answers to some questions. Answers that you had better give me, or else you will spout a new mouth lower than your current one. "

His old claws shaking in fear, Lwentlach starts to answer all of Brazous questions.

Yang & Haldram

Yang shocked looked betrayed his emotion. He was not yet old enough to hide his feelings, unlike Haldram who showed little to no emotions when he answered that question. Yang did not know the Dragon before him, nor the history with his mother. At least not fully.

‘She was my friend. I gather that she told you that much. Your father and I were, um, playful when we’re younger.’ Holding out his hand to stop Yang from retorting, Haldram continued, ‘We’re playful in the sense that no one ever got killed. Some got seriously injured, but no one got killed. Your Father and myself were close to death quite a number of times. We’re quite a pair, until he met your mother. She was a Blue, and you know first hand how Blues are. So it became a challenge for Llatering. And I helped him of course. Well, I leave the details for your mother. Suffice to say, the marriage was one hell of a match, not the kind made in heaven but surprisingly it worked.’

Yang looked at Haldram closely, noticing that some semblance of conscience was still left in that ancient. All he had to do was to bring it back up to the surface. That was the hard part. He remained silent, with his eyes opened at the revelations happening before him.

‘Rhea was, well still is I hope, the calming factor in our lives. I said our, because that was what happened. Llatering was the first but because we’re quite inseparable, soon I too became more sedate and less ‘playful’. Not that some of the playfulness were ever fully erased. No one got seriously injured anymore. At least not as often. Did you know that Lheyklanth, the one that you call Oldwing, was one of out friends too. Well, he was Rhea’s friend but we became friends eventually. We used to call him Hey Lhey, sort of rhymes don’t you think? Which absolutely drove him wild. But all for a good laugh. He wasn’t so old then, not the Oldwing that you now know him as. Gods, those were the good old days…’

‘Rhea was the rope that bound us together. When Llat got exiled, she was devastated. Many people said that the marriage between fire and ice would never work. Bah! What would they know of what worked or didn’t. Let me tell you this Yang, never let anyone say that it won’t work just because you’re of different colors. Look no further than your father and mother, and see the truth. After that, Rhea was lonely and near impossible to draw out from her depression. I did what I could to ease her pain…’

Yang could see that Haldram was not made out of stone. His face now had small contortions of pain as the memories came back as clear as the salty sea.

The pause was becoming unbearable as Yang yearned to know.

‘Eventually, I found out that I loved her. And she reciprocated that love…’

Lheyklanth

Oldwing closed his eyes as he felt the wind passing beneath and above his wings. For a moment, he was young again, his body moving with the grace of a smaller dragon as he performed tricks in the air.
It took him back to his younger years. When there were no burdens, when he was no Supreme Father. Back when the previous grey, Faerylm, had been the leader. Oh, how that aged dragon had looked upon young Lheyklanth with pride. More so than his parents had: in fact, their relationship together, and their relationship with Lheyklanth only deteriorated after the grey's birth.
And so, through his parent's lack of love for him, he befriended those he would otherwise have seen below him. Dragons like Haldram, and Llatering.

Oh, how the three of them had played. No one had been able to stop them then. How had that head-strong youth become the aged dragon now, whose body hurt after all this flying?

But for just that moment, he was no longer the tired, old dragon.

Brazous

"So that was your idea. A double cross aimed at my father. How nice you all are. You say to yourselves that you are better than we are , however you are as prone to making emotional judgements as we are. I will allow this "Delegation " to go to my father, then I will show him your treachery. Thank you for your information , my father will be happy to have it. " ]

Brazous reaches out with a clawed hand and swipes it across Lwentlach's face. This momentarily panics the dragon, allowing Brazous to bring to bear his power of mind control. He pushes his power out at the dragon in front of him. He moves fast before Lwentlach can recover. Burning Lwentlach's synapes with his power, Brazous walks out of his hut; leaving behind an dragon- drooling on its own feet with the mind of a newborn dragon. Brazous changes back to his camaflogued form before getting too much further. Brazous whistles a happy song as he walks back to the council area.

Fin walked the path of his friend for at least an hour finnaly finding a hut village "ah yes....what in the-"Fin was suddenly ambushed by an group solders."a...heh heh!um...n-nice day for a walk?" "Silence dragon!I don't care if you're a good or evil dragon we dont care!" "ooooooookay....um do any of you know an girl named shimui?" "what!?! you mean master shi?"the solder pointed his spear sraight at fins wolf throat"how do you know her?!"

Fin had had it with the spear and bit it off freaking out the solder"she's a friend of mine!if you know her, take me to her before I get really piss spear boy!"

Yang & Haldram

Looking towards the crashing waves and seagulls scooping down for a meal, Haldram was lost in his thoughts. He was determined to let the young Yang know the truth. So in turn, hopefully Yang will join his side and justice will eventually prevail.

‘But my mother loved my father, not you…’ Words faltering in Yang’s mouth.

‘Listen to me first before you get all riled up Yang. Ah, where to begin…’

‘Rhea was devastated, and next to Llat, I was her best friend. As a friend I could not bear to see her pain. I tried my best to draw her out. I’d like to think that I was successful. She, after a long while, was resigned to the fact that Llat was no longer around and that life goes on. We became, um, close. Life did go on, the colony was safe again under the guidance of Lhey. I was content, so was she. And in most parts, so did the colony. But the well-spring of dissatisfaction kept bubbling up to the surface. In some Dragons’ minds, injustice was borne out of Lhey’s actions. Some Dragons just did not learn from the mistakes of their brethren. So quite a lot of them continued to make the same mistakes, over and over again. And Lhey had to put out small brush fires quite often. But some who got exiled were innocent. Innocent in the sense that they knew not what they’re doing. And some were even condemned for being at the wrong place at the wrong time.’

Sighing, Haldram added, ‘I tried to plead with Lhey, even begged him to relent, but to no avail. And soon the dissenting voices grew louder and louder. Lhey shrugged it off, sure of his abilities in dealing with the problem. Well, he had all reason in the world to be confident. None of the Dragons who opposed him had ever bested him, until the blasted Black Knight appeared. I was one who eventually opposed him, although it took me a while. Because I loved her, I was exiled much later. She cajoled and even threatened me, not to go head to head with Lhey. Of course, being the hot head that I was, I went and confronted Lhey anyway.’

‘But why did you disregarded Rhea’s advice, when you confessed your love for her?…’

‘Hahaha…So you do want to know why? Hmmm…’

Still picking his teeth with the leg bone, Haldram paused before answering Yang.

‘Lhey is the only Gray left in this world, and that meant that he was destined to rule from the moment of his birth. The Great Dragon mother has decreed none otherwise. When the first Dragons rose up to revolt, he had put them down with an iron fist. Not that some of them did not deserve it. Still benefit of doubt must be given. When Lhey exiled some more for speaking out and being unruly, he stepped out of line. I agreed with for the first exiles, but eventually it seemed that Lhey got power mad and exiled everyone not in agreement with him. I was one that stood up against the second wave of exiles. I had believed that the leaders of the first revolt had been removed, and without leaders, the revolt faltered and died. Mark my words the revolt was dead. Discontent still simmered, but actual open and armed confrontation was non-existent. I defied Lhey, because Llat was not one of the leaders. I say this not out of disrespect Yang, but Llat, your father was not bright enough to be a leader. And he was not a follower either. In essence, Lhey, our old friend, had condemned one of his friends. Your father was as good as dead.’

‘In brief, when eventually words failed me, we fought. Lhey overpowered me quickly and I got exiled. It seemed that I have failed your father and Rhea, Yang. I failed because Lhey would not listen to reason. I failed because Lhey was a better fighter than I am.’

Dropping his head in a semblance of defeat, Haldram avoided Yang’s eyes.

after the solder agreed to bring him to shimui, fin changed into his birdman form"excuse me but how much longer?" "n-not too long from now..."fin had a bad feeling that he was being set up soon enough he found out he was."hmm?whats up with this place..."oh shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!!!"fin fell through a hole and soon was ambushed by at least a dosen of solders"you think we would let a lieing dragon talk to our master!?!" "HOLD IT!!!!!"the sudden rumble brought the solders attention to an beautiful warriour"what is the meaning of harming this poor dragon?"

Brazous

Brazous arrives at the council chamber in time to hear them send off the delagation to the exiles. Brazous smiles evilly, and vaults into the air. He has a faster route to the exiles than the delegation does, so he should arrive in time to warn his father of their treachery. Brazous moves his great pinions with alacrity , speeding towards his home.

"who you're calling poor!?!"Fin climbed himself out of the hole seeing the warriuor that saved him."hmm?you look familer..." "maddam.this...this thing says that he knows you!" "fin had just about enough of the solder and spited a small amount of acid at him, destroying his spear"ahem!how would you know sir?" "um acctualy,I'm looking for an girl named shimui." "I am she..."fin eyes widen seeing how she had grown over just five years!"well shim I can't belive you order goofs around!" "fin!?!Is that relly you!?!"

Brazous

Brazous gets there in plenty of time before the delegation arrives. He immediately gets together with his father. Pyrymis is busy , but stops what he is doing when he hears what Brazous has to say. "Well Father, what do you want to do? Massacre them when they arrive? " No, son, I want them to reveal their true colors so that all the others can see their treachery. That way the exiles will be bonded even stronger together. Come let us go out to the courtyard to greet the delegation. "

A small black dragon arrives near Pyrymis."Pyrymis, there is a large group of dragons coming this way, they are bugling their approach , so we know they are not trying to sneak in. What shall we do? " "Let them come, I want to see who these dragons are and what they want. " "Yes , my lord, I will do as you said. " Pyrymis stands next to his son in the courtyard, waiting for the colony dragons to arrive .

The few dragons that had followed him were among the strongest in the colony. He had picked them, mostly red with a couple of blue and black's mixed in for good measure, for one reason only, protection.
He had no doubt that the Exhiles would destory him in a heartbeat if they chose to, but at least this way, he'd be able to take a few down with him.
Besides, there was no need for death in this mission. There were much sinister things to do on this earth than kill.
They had finally reached the island, after getting some sketchy instructions from one of the elders who had once been a spy. At one time they had kept track of the Exhiles, at leas tthe ones who had joined forces, but Oldwing had seen to the end of that. He had seen to the end of everything.
With the council so scared, they had no choice but to appoint him as the new leader, at least temporarily.
Within a couple of month's he'd show them all. Which, brought him back to the situation at hand.
A few flutterings of wings, and the entire party landed inside a small courtyard, something of a fancy thing. Not exactly what he expected from Exhiles.
There were a few dragons lined up at the other end. The only one that stood out in his mind was the tall black one, apparently Pyrymis.
"Ahh," he said, delighted, "Good, I thought we'd be welcomed."
Under his breath he whispered to his group to keep their eyes open.
"Pyrymis, I assume," he said, his green speckled tail whipping shortly from side to side, "Well, well, there is much to discuss, much to discuss.
"Shall we go somewhere a bit more private? I believe there are some thing we need to talk about before we get started on the formalities."
Carefully, he tucked his wings in behind him.

Pyrymis

Ah, you are Rune, if I remember you correctly.. come with me to my private chambers. Brazous, you will come too. Rune, you may bring one other dragon with you if you have concern for our hospitality. Come follow me. Pyrymis folded his wings back and made his way to his large compound.

Lheyklanth

Oldwing paused in the air, his wings bringing his entire body to a halt in just a moment. His one good eye narrowed on the familiar black figure before him.
"You again." the dragon said, his voice full of hate.
"It is I." the winged black knight replied.
"The young one - Fin - said he had killed you."
"He was flamboyant, but cocky. His attack took me by surprise, but I was nowhere near dead. He under-estimated my power."
"My eye will never heal. Neither will my pride; but I can at least do my best to minimize the damage done by it." Oldwing announced.
The black knight brandished his sword, the blade that was as black as his armour, and, no doubt, his soul.
And then, in a moment, the two had descended upon each other.

"I have no fear as of yet. Go, guards, immerse yourself in this colony. Find old friends, make new ones. Just don't wander too far."
His underbelly itched with excitement. Those eyes though, dull and grey, showed nothing. It was as if they had fixed on something far away and wouldn't not let go of their hold. Beautiful eyes, some would say, his mother included. For grey was a rarity, in any species, except elves.
Deadly, argued others. For it's hard to estimate an enemy when you can't look into their soul.
He followed the dragons, making his way past various caverns and archways. It was plain, simple, but no doubt good craftsmanship. In a couple of hundred years he was sure this place could match even the Colony.
Of course, there would be no reason for that, if his plan would work.
"Pyrymis," he said at last, "There have been troubled times behind us, and ahead of us as well. No doubt your spy, "he gave a sharp look at the younger dragon, "Has already informed you of some of our plans. I do not mind though, water under the bridge. Given the opportunities were switched, I would have done the same. You are only looking out for yourself, and the good of your dragons.
"The council, pushed by one of Oldwing's last requests, has decided to kill you, and everyone in this colony. I, however, acting as the new leader, temporarily of course, have a better offer. One that will help not only your people, but all of dragonkind as well."
His eyes passed over both of them for a moment, looking at their stance, their tail, even the very scales in betwixt them.
"Are you interested?"

Pyrymis

Pyrymis looks at the dragon before him with a skeptical look. "Ah, my son brought me the news that you were here to assassinate me and destroy the colony, thought with this small of a delegation I am not sure how Oldwing thought to achieve it. I am intrigued by your idea. Tell me what it is that you have in mind. With Oldwing out of the way, maybe your enlightened leadership will allow dragons to take their rightful place as rulers of all this world. " Pyrymis waits to see what Rune has to say to that.

Rune couldn't help but smile. He had this dragon figured out to a T. Dealing with people is so much easier once you understand what the truly want, what is inside their heart.
It makes things so much more simpler.
"My colony," he had to raise his head up a bit as he said that. Countless dreams and fantasies of one day saying those words and meaning them were finally true. It was a great day to be a dragon.
"My colony," he repeated, "Doesn't wish for world domination, at least not yet, but what they do want is freedom. Everyone is tired of hiding, and now that the humans know we are here..."
He refrained from anything further, not wanting to offend the dragon before him. The past was the past, one can't change it, the only thing they can do is forge the future.
"... they are going to attack, with just about everything they have. Now, both you and I know that the humans are nothing more than a pest, but they have great allies. Rumors are that other species, ogres, dwarves, and even elves are going to join in on this crusade. If that happens, then we will surely take heavy casualties, if not lose the war entirely."
He raised his paw before anyone could speak. Dragon pride was high, but the truth, the truth was always higher.
"My plan, is to join forces. My colony along with your... your... delegation, you called it? Yes, delegation can strike quick and hard, stopping the humans before they even have time to join allies with everyone else. Then, we can send diplomat's to the other species, and promise a peaceful co-existance. We don't even have to destroy the humans, just enough for them to know we can crush them if need be."
His eyes crinkled slightly, knowing this last part was the trickiest of all.
"After the defeat and equality of the dragons, we can part ways. I know, for the most part, that my colony just wants to live in peace and once again fly in the skies, but I also know that you wish nothing more than to conquer everything.
"If that is your wish, than you are free to do so. I'll even send a few willing volunteers to help you. You will get what you want, and I'll get what I want. Listen, Pyrymis, with our combined forces, we can not fail. This is where legends are born, here is where we decide fate..."
He sighed deeply, finishing his speech.
"What do you think?"

Pyrymis looked over at the prideful dragon. Call the exiles a 'delegation' will he. Bah, he will see how strong they are when the dragons take on the humans and their allies. "Ah, we will crush them all. They are nothing compared to the strength of us dragons, our threefold strength. Strength of the mind, strength of the body , and the most important, strength of our magic. These creatures are mere cattle for us to imprint our brand onto their miserable meaningless lives. I am with you brother dragon. When do you expect them to attack? I have been preparing my people to leave this island soon anyway, so we are almost ready to move. " Peering at Rune with a smug look, Pyrymis basks in the certainty of his dream of world domination coming true.

"Excellent, excellent."
His smile was big, but there was just as much evil in there as good.
"First thing we need to do, is to get a polymorph. Someone good that the humans won't easily recognize. We need a spy in their ranks, so we can find out what their plans are, and how soon they will attack. I believe we should use one of your dragons instead of one of ours, since they might not be as ready to do something this sneaky and conniving."
He paused for a moment, gathering his thoughts.
"Then, we need a place to all meet. Your colony as well as my own. Some place big enough for everyone, and yet out of the way of other creatures. We can inform everyone of our alliance and our plans."
When the council sees how much power Rune holds in his pocket, they will surely do anything he asks. There will be no more questioning of authority, unless they want to find themselves food for the colony.
Speaking of food...
"But, before that, I am a bit peckish. Perhaps something to eat before we make any more decisions."

Pyrymis

Pyrymis looks over at Rune. "Alright , as far as a good polymorph, I would say my best is Brazous , my son. He has excellent skills and would serve as a good spy, being naturally devious. I will send out a small group of explorers, one to each side of the compass to look for a suitable place for us all to settle. Come, I am a bad host. Let us got some food in you. I can hear your stomach grumbling over here.I thought it was a large thunder storm. "

Yang & Haldram

‘It’s not your fault that things are now as they are, Yang. The great Dragons are divided like the Lesser Folks. And where is Lhey now, when the Lesser Folks are uniting to defeat us. Defeat US. Bah! Only their dreams can they achieve that. So where was the mighty Lhey when all of this is happening, I ask you? I’ll tell you where. Killing other Dragons in defense of the Lesser Folks. How far off the deep end can one go, Yang? I mean, against his own kin, siding with our enemies, that where Lhey is…’

‘No, Haldram, you’re wrong. Oldwing was just defending the defenseless. And I might add, from an unprovoked and cruel act of wanton destruction wrought on by the Exiles…’

‘Yang, listen to me. The Lesser Folks are gathering their strength. And they will attack, even if we had not struck first. So we must act first before their full strength is realized. Anything less of a response from us will be viewed as a sign of weakness.’

‘How strong do you’ve to be to attack some defenseless town?’ Asked Yang with questioning eyes.

‘It’s not a matter of strength Yang. It’s a matter of right, and our place in the world. Let me explain before you get all irked off. Our rights. We have the right just like the Lesser Folks to breath the air of freedom, and bask in the sunlight, without any fear of attack. We’ve the right to take a swim in the sea or rivers without having to do so in the darkness of the night. We have the right, just like all of the Lesser Folks, to live wherever and however we want to, and not be viewed as a source of spare parts for magical armor or potions. I want to have the right to be with your mother. And where is that basic right of freedom now, Yang?’

‘I don’t know. But it’s still wrong to have done what you and the exiles did to those townsfolk.’

‘Wrong or right, we’re fighting for our existence. Which leads me to my second point. We have been here before any of the Lesser Folks were here. And I hope that we’ll be here long after they all have turn to dust. I have seen the ages pass, Yang. We are Dragons, not some cowering lizard afraid of the sunlight, forced to live in caves, forgotten as living creatures, known only as myths. Our place is here. We are part of the earth, as the great Dragon Mother had decreed. And now the Lesser Folks want to take us from our rightful place.’

‘So our place is here, but why can’t we all co-exist together? What’s wrong with that, Haldram? We leave the Lesser Folks alone, and the Lesser Folks leave us alone. Answer me that Haldram.’

Lheyklanth

Lhey swung his wings, his huge body swerving away from the black knight to break off their conflict, circling once around before coming to a halt before the winged knight, who stood as still as ever. The two had exchanged blows, but neither had done any real damage to the other.
"You fight better today, dragon." the knight spoke in his deep, ominous voice.
"And you not as well, Knight. Why is that?" the dragon asked, turning its head slightly sideways as he tried to hide his efforts to catch his breath.
"It is but your imagination." The Knight said after a moment's pause, before his wings began to beat and he charged at the dragon, sword first. Lhey ducked aside, wheeling around again, coming up behind the knight, who turned to face the dragon. He attacked again, Lhey leaving his dodge until the last minute, where he ducked underneath the black Knight and lashed out with his powerful tail, knocking the knight back, but not before the Knight cut a painful wound in the dragon's tail. As the Knight struggled for breath, Lhey flew forwards with tremendous power, slamming into the knight's chest and sending him backwards again. As the Knight opened his defences, Lheyklanth felt a moment of complete and utter stillness, and he recognized the feeling; the feeling of a battle about to be won. Taking the feeling as a good omen, the dragon surged forward once more, but before he could strike a third time, the knight regathered himself and struck out with his sword. Desperately Oldwing dodged to the side, but the sword just tipped his wing and the creature let out a pained scream. As the knight attempted to draw his sword back to strike again, Lhey maneuvered around him, his long neck enabling him to catch a hold of the knight's arm, his long, sharp teeth biting even through the knight's plate armour. The Knight was defenceless, and one of the dragon's claws grabbed the Knight around the neck, enabling him the correct grip to rip the Guardian's arm from its socket. There was a horrible screaming sound, before Lhey's mouth released the limb and went straight for the Knight's head, ripping it straight off. The body beneath him went limp, and Oldwing released the mangled corpse, which soon followed the arm downwards. Lastly, Oldwing spat out the still-helmeted head, which followed the rest of the body.
The dragon howled at the sky around him, his body feeling stronger than it had ever before.

Yang & Haldram

Pursing his lips slightly, Haldram answered Yang with a question of his own, ‘Why are the Lesser Folks up in arms then, if we all can live peacefully side by side?’

Yang opened his mouth to answer, but snapped it back shut as his mind could think of none.

Continuing, Haldram could sense the discord in Yang’s mind.

‘Yang, why are the Lesser Folks so afraid of us that they all want to kill each and every Dragon in existence? Is it because we are a danger to them? A danger of what ‘might’ be, and not of what has been for ages?’

‘Then why can’t we discuss this then with the Lesser Folks? Why destroy them before we all have a chance of peace and co-existence?’ Retorted Yang quite vehemently.

‘Yang, my dear boy. The Dragons did not gather armies and start on the march for annihilation. The Dragons do not want to be born, lived and died in dark caves forever. It’s the Lesser Folks who want all of this for themselves,’ Haldram spreading his stub arm across the calm turquoise waters and mountainous inland.

Spreading his wings in preparation for flight, Haldram looked at Yang for last time before departing for the Island.

‘Yang, for every action, there are choices to be made. The Lesser Folks have made theirs. And their actions speak loudly of their choice. So their choice has left us little options for response. In fact, there is only one option is left. To response in kind. War is already here Yang, whether you agree or disagree. Make sure you’re on the right side. Say hello to your mother for me Yang…’ Haldram’s words fading in the wing as the beats of his wings took Haldram aloft quickly.

Yang decided not to pursue Haldram. Left with his own confused thoughts, Yang flew back to the colony. He thought to himself, at least the Colony was a sane place. And peaceful, just the right atmosphere to lie in the underground pool and let the cool waters take away all the cares and worn of the world. With determined flaps, Yang concluded that war was inevitable. Now the question was: which side was he on…

"Ahh, good, food. I havebn't been flying in ages, it's tiring. Although, I believe that's ust cause I'm a bit rusty. Still, it felt good..."
They entered a large banquet room (I assume) where there was an assortment of food. After certain politeness was out of the way, he dug in. Eating as if he hadn't done so in weeks. The food was good, better than what he expected from a rag tag group like this.
They kept impressing him time after time. He would have to make sure that stops happening.
"So," he said, after he had suppressed most of his appetite, " how many do you have under your ranks here? Good fighters?"

"yep still as small as an mouse!"
"you mean your brain, right?"Shim giggled at her remark"very funny, very funny!any way Shim I need your help on something." Shim's eyes went from laughter and into serious and confusion"What? the last you asked for my help my little brother and sister were pulling your tail and messing up your scales." Fin explaid to her what happened, the knite, oldwing leaving, and Z being brutally killed

"hmmmm.....I heard of these knites before" "you have?who....or what are they?" Shim looked at him for an moment giving him a look that he had never seen before "Fin....these guys go from dimension to dimension killing dragons..." "there are dragons in other dimensions?" "Fin.......transform into your meta dragon from and come with me"

Pyrymis

Pyrymis looks over at his guest. "Well, its a closely guarded secret, but we have over 80 dragons ready and willing to fight. About 20 of them are really good fighters and we have some up and comers. We lost a few recently with the sack of the town and also some disagreements. I have to keep control of this community and my rules are harsh.

Overall, we have almost 200 dragons here. About 80 are females and the rest are younglings. That has been the key to our community. I do not restrict breeding like the Colony did. You have limited resources so could only allow so many dragons at a time. However, we are able to provide for more, so I allow more young to be born. In a few short years, when this new crop of younglings reach puberty, I would have made a power grab for the colony. We already have more warriors than the colony, but I would have liked a larger margin for error. "
