In a few weeks I will be participating as an assistant coach in a Summer sports clinic for special needs kids . Adaptive basketball and tennis are the sports that I will be coaching . The look on the childrens faces when they make a basket or when they hit the ball...Priceless! For, if it weren't for the adaptive sports program they most likely would never have an opportunity. They get their own shirt and at the end there is a banquet , with trophies given to each child. The tear jerker is when they give something back to the coaches....usually it's a framed picture of the teams, and a gift certificate...but, ya know what? When I see them smile, laugh, and forget that they even have a disability, well, that for me is the best gift they can give .

I'm so proud of you and your unconditional compassion for people! It takes a special person to care so much for a person with special needs! :rose:
 
Why can't I just have a truck, instead of this shitty little box of a car?!
