Representative Ro Khanna said that Trump's court dates should not "compromise [the former president's] ability to have a robust campaign schedule."

he knew this was coming and deliberately entered the race believing it would put things on hold long enough and, if he got elected, he could make most of it disappear. Courts do not have to work round the ploys of those with these intentions.

The Georgia trial of Donald Trump on charges he conspired to overturn the 2020 election will be televised and streamed live, according to Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee.

McAfee issued an order Thursday stating that all court proceedings involving Trump and his 18 co-conspirators will be broadcast via a television pool. The Fulton Co. Courts’ YouTube channel will stream the trials live.

In addition, the judge ruled that reporters will be allowed to have computers and cell phones inside the courtroom, as long as they don’t record the proceedings.

I don't think that someone's decision to run for public office erases due process for crimes they are indicted for. Steam ahead on the trials without reference to his campaigning. Those who say this is election interference would find a way to object to it anyway. Everyone knows he's only running to try to keep himself out of prison. It has nothing to do with fulfilling the public support duties of a president.
