I haven't seen old Yeller. I did just recently read the Yearling for the first time and cried and when I was in the fifth grade we read Where the Red Fern Grows and watched the movie. How awful. they were so sad.

Speakingof books. When I was in the fifth grade our teacher read us a series of books about an alien invasion. one of them was called When the Tripods Came. I haven't been able to find these books. anyone wanna help me?

I vaguely remember searchign amazon two years ago. I am trying to buy books I loved whenI was a kid to read to mine.
