The Hypochondriac Cafe

I ache all over. It's totally psychological. I pulled out all the stops yesterday to achieve the impossible in work. Nobody thanked me, nobody congratulated me. Instead, the 55 reports I wrote were returned to me today because I'd ticked the wrong box on them.

I was given a lesson off timetable to re-do them, but I couldn't face it. So instead I sat in an empty room and played video games.

You're my hero today.

I had a major incident to deal with at work, and half-a-dozen small fires from coworkers to put out yesterday. On top of that, we're producing more scrap and rework than good signs so far this week, and we're still trying to rebound from last weekend's blizzard.

I wish we could have video games, but realistically, I keep requesting a punching bag to be purchased and hung in the gym. A good heavy bastard.

I feel sick :(

I can't sleep because my body keeps getting racked by stomach cramps, and I feel cold.

I feel like I need to throw up, but I hate throwing up so much that somehow moaning softly to myself while I break out in a cold sweat is preferable.

It was fun at first, when I realised I might get a day off school from it (and a long weekend), but now I've had enough.

Near-migrane, heart burn, little bit of vomit, left knee got twisted over night, and the right isn't far behind.

Soon as the ibuprofen kicks in, I'm takin' the young'un to day care and I'll try to track down my knee brace.

Blew my knees again.....too damn many stairs at work, I guess.

Looks like I'll be seeing a lot of my friend Ibuprofen in the next few days.

I still have hive, though I have narrowed it down to what may have cause them: Kiss My Face Olive and Lavender soap or Lubriderm lotion for sensitive skin. I suspect it's the combination of both.

Other than that, I'm pretty miserable fighting off the urge to scratch my arms. I have two full sleeves of tattoos scars would screw up. :(
I'll get you some gloves. :rose:

Awww, poor thing. It's probably the lavender. I'm allergic to that and well, everything else.

You're probably right. I've noticed the lavender-oakmoss essential scent oil that I use has started to make my nose stuffy. I'll have to find some other signature scent I think.

I'm reporting in as injury free, but my right knee is still tender. Probably a very good thing I didn't go and play paintball this weekend....makes it all better for next weekend.

Dear lord, I have a low grade fever....which means either I have an infection or I'm due for an arthritis flareup.........or its the onset of menopause rearing its ugly head.
