I've got a killer head-and-chest cold with fever. I fly to New York in 5 days' time. 8-hour non-stop flight.

I DETEST flying when I'm sick. :(

Oh well. I'll just try and infect as many of the other passengers as possible.

It never seemed that important when I was collared because I knew how cautious they were with that kind of safety and those were the only toys that really got used on me.

Not so much now and it's not exactly something I want to risk. On top of which (no pun intended) I want to know the toys aren't crap. Nothing spoils a happy place quite like going from a good flogger to a shitty one.

Or a nice paddle to a broken one.

I had friends who got a kick out of breaking toys over my ass. Well they did it to all the pyl types and then made the pyl sign and date the toy and it hung in the back room of the shop that sold my costumes. I had 3 that broke on the first swing (so mine had a big "1" on them). I was labled "ass of steel" after that.

This is what sucks about not living in a major city. When I skip the pond, I have to drive an hour to the airport, then take a 3 hour flight to a biger city like Philidephia, Chicago, or NYC, then I get the 8 hour to London (or if I'm really lucky right to Dublin or it's another near 2 hour flight)

As much as I loved traveling, 24 hours from the time I left my house to the time he collected me made for a very cranky wenchie. Of course getting lost in the airport in London and then having them loose my bag did not help at all.

I don't know if you all know about my son; he's ADHD and aspergers. But look what he did, today. (Click on it.)

Get better soon, cp! You might want to try Airborne...I hear it helps immensely!
:D

It's very cold outside. And white!
*grumpy face*
I live in Oregon for a reason, damn it.

:nana:WOOOOT!!!!! Go little man, go!!!:nana:

Right on, gracie! That's so awesome!

Thank you. We only got about half the book before he got bored, but it's the first time he's read to me more than a page I had to sit on him to make him read!!! I'm so psyched.

Wonderful when a door opens to a whole new world!

Yep. Took us three years to get here, but he's here and we're (me and his teachers) working on something to help him not lose all the progress over summer vacation. His IEP people think that we might be able to get him reading tutoring (for free) over the summer just so that he doesn't forget. :nana:

I went to delete my son's video and discovered that it had been deleted by photobucket. What in the WORLD is inappropriate about an 8 year old child reading to his mom? I'd ask them, but can't find a place to do that.

Probably more of the nonsense which is seizing the world in that for many, posting photos or videos of your children can be seen as dangerous and encouraging paedophiles. I know a few people on Facebook have had similar issues, and in some places it is now illegal to film or photograph your child in their school play etc., without signed permission from all parents present. The world is going nuts.

If either of my kids get an attaboy from school their pictures can't even be posted in the halls or the school news letter because they're DHS. I understand the reasoning behind it but it still sucks. :(

I went through and cleaned the rat cage top to bottom. When I was putting bedding in I figured I'd line the bottom with news paper and then put the bedding on top. It seemed like a nice thing to do for them since I have to skimp on the bedding because Jake likes pushing it out of the cage, the rat bastard.

*sighs*
It took a grand total of 7 minutes after he ate his filbert to move on to shredding the paper lining the bottom of the cage. Herbert, on the other hand, couldn't give a rat's ass. Yeah. Not much for the rat race, that one.

I've always loved my magic wand. I've had attachments for it for some time, but even the attachments end up being used on my clit.

Today I just needed something inside of me, and didn't feel like bothering to switch toys because I like the vibrations being sent through my body.

The. attachement. stumbled. on. to. my. g-spot!

OMG! it's like having my eyes opened for the first time!

I didn't even orgasm, but OMG I still feel utterly satisfied some time after stopping play.

It's like Christmas morning here.

Oh, for Pete sakes. *rolleyes*

Got home just in time to watch Discovery launch! Fortunately we get the only TV channel on which it is playing. Can't believe I was THERE just a few months ago. I've actually seen that shuttle in PERSON. Not close, obviously, normal people can't get closer than a few miles away (the famous countdown clock is 3 miles away), but I'VE SEEN IT. EEEEEE go Discovery go!

betcha didn't know I'm a space nerd

She let me get some floggers from her. Didn't realize till after I was all done that the ones I picked out had all been "my" toys. I now have posession of Lilith and Inanna and the Saints. Who'da thunk that getting to keep 4 of my favorites would result in so many tears.

She also gave me the first collar she ever put on me - a play collar. It's the choke chain one that padlocks together. The irony is that the keys are now lost so there's no way of opening the padlock. There's no way of every putting it back on. LOL - How apropos is that? Talk about the universe passing on a tangible example of not ever being able to go back.

Now if I could just stop crying again.
:(

*hugs for Chy*
TY. Funny thing is that with my day collar I couldn't get it far enough away as quickly enough. LOL - this one... I can't seem to stop touching it and checking for it, and did I put it in my pocket or next to me on the sofa, and, and, and.

Maybe because there is a security in knowing that I can touch it all I want but I will never, ever be able to put it on again. Not quite sure how to explain why I'm carrying around a choke chain with the ends padlocked together though.

Gmail has put more than 15 legit emails into Spam in the past 2-3 weeks. WTF???

I know I keep saying this, but I really have to stop blowing my nose on my sleeve. It's just gross.

What's wrong with me?

It's raining.

And I like rain.

The dripping on the roof.

Intermittent. Like jazz.
But resting on a consistent backbeat of birdcalls and breeze and the hum of buses.

It rained ten million years ago
and it will rain ten million years from now.

Rain says, "whatever your problems
internetdownbillsfuckingmiscommunicationdogsbarking.
the rain is going to fall like
aquatic neosporin."

Did I mention I like rain?
