I'm horny...like wild animal feral horny!

(And no this is not an invitation for PMs...)

I totally feel for you. I haven't been able to play around at ALL because of this stupid hateful ovary.

Of course, it's feeling almost entirely better now, so maybe I'll needle at the boy today >:}

I give up. Sometimes the effort involved outweighs the benefits.

Sometimes, we just need to stop and turn left, there is nothing wrong with that. Awesome that you are acknowledging that it is time for a change and taking good care of you by claiming it! I'm sorry about the suckage though, that is never the fun part. :rose:

Acquaintance of mine: "True vegetarians wouldn't eat glorified meat substitutes."
Me: "That's like saying true lesbians wouldn't use glorified penis substitutes."
*short discussion ensues*
Acquaintance: "Ofc, I know there are many levels of vegetarianism. A true one wouldn't consider eating something that represents meat."

Whatever, fucktard.

And no, I'm not looking to debate it here. I just feel safe venting here.

I utterly LOATHE that kind of vegetarian. (the one that she apparently is/believes in. Not the kind she's talking about)

Eating something that represents meat? What the fuck does that even mean? And just how far is he willing to take that? Is it okay to eat a representation of a representation of meat? Double tofu, perhaps?

Classically, a vegetarian is someone who doesn't eat meat. This is literally the fucking definition. So long as there is no meat in the food this human is currently consuming, then he or she is living up to that definition. There are no degrees of meatness. Something either is meat, or it is not meat. If I sculpt a goddamn chicken wing out of watermelon, does that therefore make it something that represents meat? Fucking. Stupid.

I'm sorry, but I deal with a lot of militant vegetarians in my day to day life. Sometimes I get tired of getting moralised to every time I so much as look at a piece of ham.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!

*Wheeze*

Glad you liked that. :)

Actually, did anyone ever see that cooking show... I think it was Heston Blumenthal, but I might be wrong, where he sculpted fruit out of meat? Like, he made apples out of ham, or something, and glazed them so they looked right. It was pretty cool, and realistic enough, but it makes me wonder: Would that be okay for Etoile's vegetarian acquiantance to eat? I mean, technically it's meat that represents fruit. :D

A stupid question. What exactly are meat substitutes? Tofu? Are veggie patties in hamburgers a meat substitute? I know someone who won't eat frigging eggplant, because reminds her of meat too much. That I find incredibly weird.

And I've never understood, why tofu should be treated as a meat substitute. Sure, meat can be substituted with it, but still... It's not used only to replace meat in dishes, there is a whole range of tofu dishes that have nothing to do with meat.

I'm doing loungeroom yoga to break in my new SIZE 18 jeans

I've lost about 5 sizes so far the last 12 - 14 months. Hooray!

You are making me look bad, Lizzie! Although maybe I only think I'm gaining weight, because today I'm wearing clothes a size smaller than my usual, and they fittin' fine! :)

That's really cool, by the way: good job!

Still feeling very drained. I'm wondering if it's time to take the pots off of the back burner yet. Took care of work for a week at least.

*does a lap and high fives everyone*

Thank y'all. It's been hard. Totally worth it though, yes. I can see the end goal another half dozen months down the track too, and I'm hanging out to get there.

What kink in the space-time continuum did I miss that now the word "defiantly" can be used as an adverb to mean "most assuredly?"
