*sigh* i'm working on rehoming my old horse and the more people that email me that they're interested, the harder it is for me. It's silly in one way. I hardly do anything with him any more. My friends will ride him on occasion and I"ll give him a nice pat when I'm out there to ride my mare, but he mostly just hangs out in the pasture and...is a horse.

But he was my first horse and he's my old man. It just kinda breaks me up a bit inside :(

:( >hug<

An Amazon delivery box in front of my door always makes me smile. Newest book: "Pendragon: The Definitive Account of the Origins of Arthur" ..... :D Can't wait for time to read it!!! *happy sigh* books are such a source of happiness for me .... fondling books is my addiction. (well, one of them ;) )

That's right, new month and two more books that you are allowed to buy

And I can think of a few more addictions ;)

Started talking on the phone to someone new last night. They are very smart, funny, and quite attractive. They also have an "edge" about them that while I can't pinpoint it, I am incredibly attracted to it... (HottieMama LOVES bad boys******...LOL) The negative is that they live about a four hour drive away. Now I know that's not a big deal to some people, but I LOATHE long-distance relationships. Why am I still considering hopping in the car in a few weeks and driving down to meet him in person?

Science, the only true, inerrant, absolute religion. FFS. Science education is lacking somewhere.

Make sure they don't have a significant other they're going to bring to the table this time ;)

ROFL....thanks! No, he's 1000% single. Hasn't even dated in a couple years, which is a kinda long story... At this point, I am at the giggly "He could read me the phone book in that voice and I would listen to every single word stage..." OK..I need to stop this thought train before it derails...

Why do my friends have such bad taste in choosing their partners, that they end up doing nothing but complaining about them to me? I really don't get it.

It's funny; you say that, and all I can think of, from then on, is the Peter Serafinowicz character from Black Books, with the ridiculously deep voice, the one whose name eludes me right now ;)

Not a bad thing, though. I should watch that show again...

Because you're attracted to him? :p I don't see the problem with at least going down to meet him. I suppose you could end up falling madly in love, but deciding the distance is too much and then having to tear yourself away and deal with it?

PS. I tried that and I don't recommend it. It is unpleasant and, at least in our case, didn't hold up to time anyway! :p

This is the first male to "turn my head" in this kinda way in a LONG time... I am making myself wait at least till the first weekend in October before I go down there... He's not in the lifestyle per se, but he is kinky, and like I said above, has that whole "bad boy" thing going on that just makes me weak...

(Fucking shoot me now....)

Condemning yourself for being attracted to someone? :p

No...condemning myself for acting like a twitterpated schoolgirl in regards to this person. Like I'm literally stifling a giggle every time my text alert goes off on my phone and it's him...

stop whining and giggle. It's good for you :p

Ugh. It's going to be a bad month. I could tell I was ovulating earlier this week (randy does not begin to cover it), now I'm feeling the post ovulation mild depression that I skipped the last 2 months.

Damn hormones. And the doc I want to see needs a refural. So I have to find another GP so I can get a refural to go see this one. bleck. Is it no wonder I put this shit off?

GAAAAAARRRRRGH. No matter what I do, it's JUST NOT ENOUGH.

Just...stfu ovaries. I know what you want but I CAN'T GIVE IT TO YOU. Just leave me alone D':

I haven't slept to speak of in the last 4 days. I'm exhausted.

The good news is, initial pathology reports say that the surgeon got all of the cancer off my mother's leg. The other good news is that I'm back at my own house again, and once I finish a couple of things, I'm going to go pass out in my own bed for about 12 hours or so.
