Sometimes I love folks who don't think out their first few posts here, and how to express and present themselves effectively.
They give me an extra outlet for my sadism.
LOTS and LOTS of changes going on. It's all good though...even the bad parts...
You two guys almost make me wish I was a first time poster here![]()

Leave for a few weeks, and we rearrange the furniture. Also, you need new glasses. How are things where you live, on the eve of the great national title game?
I just got an email from my 17 year old son, "coming out" as a furrie. He said his "fursona" is an anthromorphic squirrel, and attached a YouTube video link for educational purposes.
First thought - I'm not sure I'm ready for this conversation.
Second thought - How exactly do I explain I already know about furries, while protecting my own boundaries?
Third thought - Crap, I hope he didn't send the same email to his father... Shit. He did. [sigh]

When I look at the night sky I always think how great the stars look; I don't find myself thinking about the great black emptiness all around them.
I need to try and adopt the same approach with my life - start thinking more about how great the good bits are and brood less on the great black emptiness in me.
Not to pretend the blackness isn't there. Just to focus more on those lovely little points of light.

If anyone I know can handle this situation with grace and wisdom, I think it would be you. As far as his father goes... well, that's not going to be easy, no matter what, but again, you are a strong and resourceful person, and will find the best way through a stressful situation.I just got an email from my 17 year old son, "coming out" as a furrie.
