Actually, it's not that big a deal when you think about it: shave, spray, snip, glue and go easy for a few days. Now if it were a woman, then yeah, it'd be somewhat more of a big deal. Er, not that women normally have balls, you understand.

My little piece of advice? No matter how numb you are afterward, it won't last. DO NOT GO AND SEE A MOVIE. Go home, put the ice on your balls and watch a movie. Maybe sleep while you're still numb, you won't be sleeping real well for awhile.

My ex wouldn't have it done - so I had to get my parents to take me to a hospital 90 mins drive away, have day surgery, and then bring me home again I was sore for over a week, felt like I'd been kicked in the gut by a horse. I needed help to shower and getting out of a chair was murder.

This is very true. Sleep becomes an interesting prospect. Rollng over can be... exciting.

I will bitch, I will rant, I made damned clear that if I ever saw the doc on the street I would break a few bones for what he did to me, but I'd go through it again to spare my wife the surgery.

But, oh, the guilt was terrific. She was soooooo nice to me. Considering my balls swelled up like a damned grapefruit, she had better have been nice to me.

Oh, and tie your kids to a chair. Hopping up in Papa's lap is normal for the little hooligans. I've honestly never felt that strongly about killing my own offspring.

I would stay away from SG, personally. Their website is insanely popular, and I appreciate the desire to get "alternachicks" out there more, but the owner is a terrible misogynist and does not treat the girls who work for him at all well. I've thought about modeling for them too, but after I heard about him I would never apply.
