well, I decided to have a play date insted of work on my costume, then fell asleep early, and woke up late. So I guess I'm going wenchie today insted of regal.

Damn, not only do I still have the flu and little voice after a week, now I have a rash slowly spreading over me. The worst in terms of itching is the palms of my hands where it started, but now has moved up my arms, and also my face, feet and legs....the only thing I can think of it being is an allergic reaction to a cough mixture F bought for me yesterday as I have not done or eaten/drunk anything different apart from that.

LOL, nah, isn't as easy to do that here as it is at home. It started last night soon after taking the new medicine and I had another couple of doses and it began spreading so I thought perhaps that is it and stopped taking it today. If it gets too bad I will go to the doctor's and see what they have to say but given past experience with the local doctors, I won't hold my breath for a brilliant diagnosis.

I'm going to post this publicly, because it involves a friend of mine, who I hope will still feel comfortable posting here. who is correct there, isn't it? Cutie? Anyone? Bah. It's Sunday.

No one died and made me queen of lit, so the following is just my opinion.

I really don't like the practice of posting not-so-thinly veiled angry messages about other Litsters here. If you've got a beef with someone, take it to PM. Unless there is a reason the transgression should be aired (for example, a fake internet personality), I don't see why a public flogging, so to speak, is necessary. This board should really be neutral territory.

Anyway, it's just my opinion, but as a poster here, and fwiw, I thought I'd throw out my two cents. I don't like non-consensual public floggings.

Btw, full disclosure. I've posted my own not-so-thinly veiled Dear X, and I'm not proud of it. It feels good in the moment, but, well, to make a long story short, the best "revenge" is to just move the fuck on.

Have you been near any ivy of any sort lately? The rash sounds like it may be poison ivy, oak, or sumac.

If so, try calamine lotion, cocoa butter ointment, and something i have found locally (not sure if it would be in your area) called Ivy Dry. Its a spray on, and it takes the itch away fast, and dries up the rash within a couple of days.

i hope you get better soon, cause it sucks being sick.
