Oooh, migraines are awful !! I had one about a week and a half ago, and they are unbearable. Glad that you got rid of yours, and I hope it stays away for good!!

I leave for Washington tomorrow evening for twelve days!! YAY!!! My only concern is that I'm FREEZING right now in California............how am I going to feel in Washington where even Washingtonians are talking about how cold it is? BRRRRRR!!!!!

What part of washington?

Oh, and if you're used to dry weather, pack warmly. Wet cold is so much worse than dry cold. My cousin spent a winter with my mom, she came from St. Louis in December. Their was snow on the ground when she left St. Louis, and she came without a winter coat. It rarely gets below freezing in the portland area, and she FROZE all winter. She couldn't get warm enough.

My weekends have certainly been interesting lately, but this one....

Edit: WWHD?

I'm going to be staying with my sister and her family. She lives in a small town about 45 minutes or so out of Seattle. It's called Puyallup.

I'm supposed to be packing, and part of the reason I'm avoiding it by posting on Lit. is because I feel silly packing all my shorts, open-toe shoes, and little nighties when I know how freaking cold it is there right now!! I just don't have many warm clothes anymore.

My nephew was so cute yesterday! He called me from Washington all excited that he made his first touchdown in football (He's nine.). He says, ".....and I made my very first touchdown on the most freezingest cold days ever!! It was SO cold that I had my hands inside my shirt sleeves............and I STILL caught the ball and made a touchdown!!!" I LOVE my little sweetie!!!

Anyway, maybe I'll get lucky and it'll warm up a little bit while I'm there. That would definitely be a good thing.........especially because my nephew wants me to come watch him play football....AND soccer!!

is it cause of your bipolar meds? my sister is bipolar and on lithium and she says that her meds have lots of nasty side effects, including migrains.

Ah. My mom's outside of Longview.

And I hear the weather is supposed to warm up over the next day or two.

I'm not sure where Longview is. How close to Seattle is it? That's kind of my reference point for places. I once dated a guy from Lacey. Actually, I almost moved to Lacey....as in I had my WA. driver's license, bank account, etc. I think Washington is beautiful, and I love Oregon, too!

I'm glad to hear that the weather is supposed to warm up! That's really good news!! :nana:
