Okay folks, How Awesome Is This?!

Due to a miscommunication, my 10th anniversary cruise is scheduled during classes instead of over spring break. (doh!) This Monday I registered for all my spring classes, and I sent e-mail to all of my teachers explaining the situation for them. So far only one has responded, and he said:

I appreciate you contacting me so early. Normally I would be weary of this, but (my current history teacher) vouches for you and says that you would be able to keep up with the work. So I think we can find a way to make the course work for you. We’ll figure out the details as the time of your trip approaches.

The reason this is so awesome is because I had no idea whether I would be able to hack school. Back in the early part of this year, I fretted over whether I could keep up with work, re-train my brain into learning mode, etc. And not only am I doing it, but I am doing well enough that my current teacher thinks I'm great!!

*dances and skips around like a happy person*

Sweet! Since you're letting your professors know waaay in advance, hopefully they shouldn't trip too much about. I know it's stressful waiting to hear back from all of them to let you know that it'll be ok so let's hope they get back with you soon.

In the meantime, I'm waiting to see a pic of these cool contacts you wore today too. When do we get to see?

Yeah, that's my thinking too. The more in advance, the better! But yeah, I am also nervous about waiting. I'm not even quite sure how to contact one of them because she left for a while and I don't know if she checks her campus e-mail. I contacted the place where she's currently working and asked if they could put me in touch with her, because I don't want to wait until she comes back in January to find out if she's cool with it!

The picture of those contacts is here but don't say I didn't warn you! (I don't want to post it directly in case it creeps people out!) There's another one here.
