Yeah, i dont know of anything, i can think of, that would help. You got that shit covered! Im usually able to find deeper meaning in peoples actions than words (product of a psychiatrist mother). She wanted attention, good or bad, she got it. Not saying she isnt deeply disturbed, she is and needs help, but dont we all. It sucks that you had to be on the other end of that. Fuck me. It gets worse. The night we all had a drink was at my house. I have a big garage. Inside the garage is a beer fridge and a deep freeze. Her vodka was in the deep freeze. Which I found turned off today. No vodka. So I’ve just biffed around $1500 worth of meat. Fuck me dead.

So yeah you were bang on about staying strong bro. I can replace it, but that’s not the point. I wouldn’t even feed to my cats because it’s been off for a few days. Fucken crazy bitch.

One of my my kids unplugged the freezer to plug in some bullshit music in the garage when they were in high school. When they pulled the music out, they "forgot" to put the freezer plug back in. We lost everything that was frozen. At least, we caught it before it started to smell. I was livid.

No, i forgave her because im the best, AND she even threw away a sack of Parmigiano Reggiano rinds! Ugh, im getting angry just thinking about it. Reliving that traumatic experience is not good for my mental health.

Fresh caught (via ice fishing) pan fried “wild” Walleye filets lightly breaded, and seasoned with a little salt & pepper is “God’s gift to man!” And Lake Perch is right up there with the Walleye. (imho).

Cod will do in a pinch.

carrot seeds went in 2 days ago, not where i'd planned but in the long raised bed i'd meant to plant cowpeas. No cowpeas so it seemed a good idea and, hopefully, the bit of shade they might get from the corn row as it grows tall and the sun's burning in the afternoon will help them. Where i planted them before they did well right till that real heat arrived and the sun burned their foliage near to the ground!

yesterday was fun, under the mower, putting the upper belt back on and reattaching the spring. Took longer than i expected since i thought it was one of the lower belts so was under the front, first, undoing wing nuts and removing the belt guard till i saw it was the top one... so that meant replacing the guard, putting the wing nuts back in and starting over at the back... and this was in the veggie garden where H had been running the mower for me to reduce chiggeritchery.

both types of beans are all finding their feet now and putting out extra leaves... guess they were busy getting their toes set firmly first.

first corn doing great and it's about time to lift the wire 'cage'; second bunch are doing their thing but need another week or so before de-caging.

potatoes are leafing out well in all 3 beds; onions and garlic growing nicely; leeks happy; about 7 cukes now showing with more yet to appear

today, re-turned, weeded and fertilized what had been intended as the carrot bed but is now the happy place for the peppers—unless i decide to put toms there but as of now it'll be for peppers. Damned sun was so hot my arms feel burned
