went out this morning intent on standing up all the corn that had blown over... didn't need to as it had stood itself up! Okay, not entirely straight up from the ground... a lot of the stems have a strong angle for about a foot at the base and then point up to the sky.

Baby peppers and toms on the stems, got another load of green beans in and the asparagus bean plants that have survived are beginning to put out proper, denser growth and flower. Brought in the first cukes, too, though they were a surprise. Those 7 plants that did emerge from seed are big and healthy and full of flowers with bees all over them. If all 20 seeds had come up, it would have been way too many.

Theres smoke too?? I know its down here, but between the constant dust, diesel exhaustion, brake shoe particles and the tiny metal dust, thats everywhere around me, i hadn't noticed the smoke too.. It'll be a miracle if i make it to 50.
