The Isolated Blurt Thread XXXVII: You're Welcome, Fuckers

Went biking with my friend Thursday. The plan was 12 miles or so and just feel it out. Ended up doing 30. I haven't been actual biking in 3 years? Maybe 2? Nope maybe 4 according to when I bought my helmet.
Speaking of helmets Gordon Ramsey took a bad fall. His side looks bad.

Anyways I'm out of shape and bad. My legs were not bad. My lungs wanted to die and my ass hurt from the seat.

All and all it was fun and I highly recommend biking with a partner. It makes the trip easier. You push each other and you are less bored.

30 miles? 🥇

I should be out mowing a few areas. I have masses of clover (I planted a bunch years ago and it really too off) and there are honey bees EVERYWHERE!!! I have to be careful just walking to avoid stepping on them. And they're WAYY too stupid to get out of the way of a mower.

All of these lines across my face
Tell you the story of who I am

I turned my wife into a rabid Brandi fan with this song. Ohhhh about 14 years ago? Maybe 13, who's counting? Then, I took her to a small little venue to see her, before she got famous. I have to say, it was one of the best concerts I've ever been a part of. 75 to 100 people in small little club. Brandi was playing for an arena, even before they ever played one.

I've just been singing Superstar to the cats. I don't think they like the Carpenters.

Bastards.
Aww the Carpenters! I went through a "phase" in my very early 20s. I think Karen has one of the best voices of all time. She kind of reminds me of Marvin Gaye. So smoooooth and effortless. It seems so damn easy for her. And Marvin..

If any of you are having problems with people stealing your packages, do the following.....

Get an amazon box. Make sure it's noticeable.
Get a bunch of good smelly dog doo safely and wrap it up in the amazon box like it's an actual delivery.
Set the box outside and leave it there for a day or so.
If you keep doing this, eventually you will NEVER get a package stolen again. :D

(Because so many of you take stuff on here too seriously.....this is a fucking joke.)

There’s honesty in her lyrics. The song itself tells how someone loves another because of the story of who they are and I truly appreciate that. We are often drawn into that story and sometimes we want to continue that story, and be part of them.

I dunno, just my take. It’s a beautiful song
