his touching musk is ok... he wants to show ownership or patronage of a socially valuable asset but when musk lifts his arms, in a basic 'exposing my armpits' moment, that's perceived as a sign of dominance and a threat by trump (rather than a relaxed show of vulnerability) who then 'protects' by wrapping his arms about himself in a defensive position... the face also tells a tale or two.

“Leon” also does his little show of enthusiasm for the song and the setting in a farcically exaggerated manner, indicating that he finds the entire situation ridiculous, and he is letting anyone outside-looking-in know that he isn’t really part of the Trump show. “Leon” is indicating that he is there for his own reasons and has his own agenda, but he will “play along” as long as it is to his benefit / advantage.

Sociopaths, like “Leon” and DonOld, are transactional to a fault; and that little photo op was the height of transactional theater.

e/t/a: The fact that “Leon” did his farcically exuberant show right in DonOld’s face - and DonOld recognized what “Leon” was doing (the folding of his arms around himself followed by a nervous and inauthentic laugh) - shows that their relationship is tenuous in the extreme.

The unraveling of that ^ relationship should be entertaining to watch.
