If you like ice cream sandwiches (I'm thinking chocolate for you) you can take low fat chocolate graham crackers and fat free cool whip and make your own low fat version. Take one graham cracker (looks like two) break in the middle put cool whip in between and freeze. You can make a bunch at once and they are much better for you than the real thing. I also find sugar free Jello pudding snacks (they now have a chocolate mint flavor) is good. Oddly enough it's better for you than the fat free and tastes like a thin mint. They also have caramel in the sugar free. If you want it to be more like mousse you can add a cup or half cup of fat free cool whip to the pudding and stir.

Lara Bars? I found these in the co-op

OMG - they're date-based.

It honest to god tastes like banana bread, ingredients: dates, almonds, dried bananas. They have apple pie, pecan pie versions.

I found a convenience food that appears to fit SCD or close to - the scores of gluten intolerant people in the world are actually creating demand for food I can have.


(It's not that I can't have any carbs, it's the kind. Some get burned up and some hang out in your digestive tract for a long time where they can cause a ruckus)

If it is indeed coming, it's REALLY early this month...which really means nothing because since having my youngest my cycles have been whacked.

I want pretzels and chocolate. *sigh*

Instead I ate a rice pilaf. It was pretty good. Just not as good as pretzels and chocolate chip cookies would have been. *sigh*

im pms-ing also. i should get my period within a few days. i attribute at least part of my binge eating in the very recent past to this.
 
My food confession for the night: I bought a jar of dark chocolate dipped almonds earlier today and put them in my cabinet. I swear they are whispering, "eat me" right now. I knew I shouldn't have bought them.

I should got to sleep before I obsess myself into snacking.

They'll get louder when you're asleep.

And throwing them away won't help. They scream from the trash. You won't get any sleep, might as well eat them. :devil:

Admit it, you're struggling with butter and salt cravings - popcorn isn't the issue.

Oh, the almond jar's lid is off.

I've eaten three.

The anticipation was so much better then the reality.

They will go back to the cabinet quietly.

Food always tastes better in my head.

It is the bitter dark I am so crazy about. It makes even my reasonably healthly stomach sick if I eat more then a few bites.
