true but he won't let me come with him when he sees the doctor. last time he went he forgot to mention his sleeping problems. i do encourage him but he's very stubborn and it hurts me to see him in pain.

You have no reason to be sorry, I understand how you feel. Before he goes maybe you should sit down with him and write down everything that he needs to address. Has he tried any over the counter sleep aids? Or maybe icing or applying a heat pack to his knee?

he does what he wants....i've made those suggestions but he's too stubborn. i told him tonight that he needs to do whats right for him even if he doesn't like it or want to.

he was prescribed (sp?) something for his knee but he says it upsets his stomach. *sighs* always an excuse with him. *laughs* i even suggest hitting him on the head with one of his frying pans!!! (i was frustrated with him at the time )

If it upsets his stomach he should eat something with it. But he has to realize that its not normal to have pain like that, and to not be able to sleep. I know a few people that refuse to seek healthcare for problems, hell i'm one of them. The problem is that he probably doesn't want to face the fact that he has something he needs to have taken care of, so he'll brush it off when he goes to the doctor and figures if he doesn't pay attention to it then it will go away on its own... hell I'm like that alot, he'll either break down on his own accord or you are going to have to wear him down till he does it.

anyways other than that how is every one this evening? I hope not to lonely

i think he tried that and said it didn't work. i don't think he's worried about being addicted as much as the side effects

nope, he's just forgetful at times....i think he's afraid of surgery....which the doctor said is what he needs
