Ok, so biscuits over here are more like English scones than English biscuits - they're soft and kind of fluffy, but still fairly dense.

In biscuits and gravy, the biscuits are covered in a whitish, flour-based gravy made with milk, cooked sausage (sometimes just the drippings), and usually small chunks of meat (again, often sausage, but sometimes American-style bacon, ground beef, or whatever's close at hand), and then seasoned heavily with black pepper.

They sell a kind of black pudding (it's in a traditional Finnish soup and everything) and a lot of similar products but nothing quite like British black pudding.
