Little steps....they are finally showing some signs of having an offense. It has taken half the year, but maybe they can rattle off 40+ wins like they did in 2000 (personally I would prefer 60 wins :) )

      who cares!!!!!!!

Yawning more...Yankees are still Skankees and Steinbrenner is an ass--the more things change, the more they stay the same! :D Why whip a dead Yankee...it true; it's all true!

You said it oogie...

Let's Go METS

I think they actually have a winning streak going

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh......... Don't say that too loud!! ;)

I just love the METS!!

Glad to see that the other two teams I'm rooting for (Cards and D'backs) are doing well!!:D

However...

Is it October yet???

Oh what a feeling

Mornin' all.

Oogie, I'm not sure if anyone could ever feel what a true Cubs fan feel.

Is is so much the teams we go to see or the feelings from being where they play. Wrigley is like taking a step back into the 20's. people in suits and ties wearing their sunday best sipping lemonade and women waving paper fans. Being able to see the pitchers face when you yell at him from the crowd. Knowing you think he sucks, distracting him so Sammy can hit 76.

I can only imagine what it is like going back to Yankee Stadium, with the likes of Ruth.

or to go to Boston? with the ominous Big Green Wall.

Do have to admit Enron Field or is that Bankruptcy field does have it's obstacles, maybe with time.

Sorry, I'm being nostalgic. Nothing else to be but a Cub fan.

P.S.METS ARE POND SCUM

Well people thank you all for keeping this going ..After reading the post so far I guess I should of named this thread something else like the sports bar or something..I for one do not mind all the ladies coming in and posting and hope they keep it up...Oh btw the operation went well and i am home early because i passed all there test with flying colors so there was no need to keep me...Now for some real news ..Dave Lewis will be steppeing in and taking over for Scotty Bowmen as head coach and I for one think it was a smart move I think he is ready and he had a great teacher plus the players are comfortable with him and I think Detroit is too...I had a feeling it was going to be him for some reason it just made sense..Again thank you all for not letting this thread die out I was happy to see it still on the front page...Take care all and have a great day:)

Yea......but, the METS have still won more WORLD SERIES than the cubs.:p

{bowing in submission}

Yes they have.

Still can't root for the ego's though.

Very true.......Baseball has become an ego stroking thing, no longer a sport. What the sport is a salary cap, people like Steinbrenner are ruining the sport. The game needs help, a strike will only kill it.:(

OOGIE

those peps need to remember they are paid to play a game.....

I have been unable to find the exact percentage of $ we as americans spend on entertainment....symphony,,, baseball,, vacations.... eating out....

no wonder those arid overpopulated little countries hate the U.S.

we exude excess. bigger cars.. better houses.... I think a city of people over there could live in some of our houses.... like bill gates or the World com guy.... maybe some of his employees out of work should try....

But then again, I'm working my ass off to have my bigger car and better house....

Well there is a new club in town and it has takebn off quickly hell I am getting in on it and starting a new sports room there..I will still be posting most of my stuff here tho because I have become attached to this room and this little group of people who come by and yell there fav team..but there will be a new sports room at the bad boys club if any of you care to stop by or give me a hand with it ...Thats all for now hope to hear from ya ..:)

Hi KS and thanks? I think.

I kind of wish there was a strike, maybe stop getting excited bout my cubbies. New manager, Kimm doing relatively well, except for fundamentals.....

Then again, Maybe thats why the farm system doesn't seem to produce the players we needed.

Nice AV, is that you in the boat ?

Hi Oogle....

Yes that is me in Central Park on the fith and thank you! As you can tell and if you don't know by now we are meeting again this Saturday on the 20th for dinner. If interested post on the NYC thread or PM me.

OK scratching my crotch. Hmm I can imitate a man can't I. So what are we all talking about in here?

Expert, I never said I was an expert at anything. A jack of all trades a master of none.

Peace,
Tulip

Forgot to spit...

Touche TULIP...

you don't have to be an expert, just think you are....;)

you pic the topic,,

girls
sex
girls
beer
girls
sports
girls
cars
sex

:D

Correction ... what about this list

to choose from:

women
sex
women
beer
women
sports
women
cars
sex

OK so a woman is longing for sex as she decides to go to a bar. At the establishment she orders a beer and gulps in down in one swoop. Feeling more tingling than she did when she walked in she sits next to a man and watches the sports channel. Yelling, cursing and egging on the NY Yankees. The man is so impressed with her passion for the game that he figures she would be the same way in the bedroom. So they both hope into his car, let's say a BMW, and away they go to make hours and hours of passionate, kinky, down right dirty sex. When she awakes she gets up and leaves never saying a word to him again.

So did I hit all of the topics?

Peace,
Tulip
