..I will take the high road, I will take the high road...I will not take the snark bait...

Deep breath, smile, continue on with happy life...

^_^ Those are pretty! Way above my price range, but so nice!

They're above mine at the moment! This move - and all it's associated costs - is proving hideously expensive. :( Besides, I'm saving my disposable cash for fancy lingerie. :D

But they sure are pretty....

I'm trying to be supportive here of your culling struggles but those are really nice shoes!

They are, aren't they? :) Darn it, and I haven't even moved into the new closet yet!

I've fallen in love with these:

And anything non-high heeled that I like is somthing that needs great support.
I just have to find someone who sells them here.

These ^ are VERY nice. I particularly like it when they go the extra mile with the little details, like the purple lining the inner heel. You should buy them. :D

Maybe living vicariously through your purchase will prevent me making my own. :p Maybe....

Something is attracting me to the idea of posting about camshafts and valve timing in here. Just can't put my foot on where the attraction is coming from.

Whoa, Canada...
I had no natural immunities to your Pizza Nova jingle, and now I can't get it out of my head

Must be that grinding reciprocating motion and those nice curves of the cams that give just the right timing?

I didn't believe my husband's friend when he said he doesn't use his kitchen.
…>_<…

I was invited over to help with cooking something and was blown away by the lack of things in his kitchen. He only has disposable plates and plastic ware. A single large pot, a pan, and a sauce pan he never took the tag off of. This is insanity! The oddest thing he had was an unopened turkey baster, which I had to use to measure liquid because he doesn't have a measuring cup. (・_・;

I think I know what to get him for every gift giving occasion... Home cooked meals. :D

Forget political, cultural, financial or religious differences, I can assure you all that World War III could just as easily be started by differences of opinion over the volume of a snare drum

When it gets hard, or overwhelming, just remember...

A successful move ends with shopping. ;)

Oh geez... don't tell her that! That's like handing a cattle prod to DVS in a locker room full of half dressed cheerleaders. Most likely a recipe for disaster :p

Life has so many mountains to climb. It's great cardio, it shows us our strengths and weaknesses, and gives us focus and purpose. It's all great stuff, even when we find ourselves kicking and cussing at the set backs and negotiating distance travelled and the distance ahead.

It really can be exhausting, but every once in a while I work hard enough to finally arrive at the top of something and get to stop, soak in the beauty of it all.

What is possible really is all about perspective, and from up here it's hard to be anything but a grateful witness as I peek at all the other peaks and wonder what's next. :)
