I understand that. I took a ten+ year sabbatical from Lit (my old username was FallingtoFly). Came back, posted in a thread that I recognized the title and author.. and found out he'd passed. As have a lot of my old friends from here.

I'm still ADD as hell, so I'll probably disappear for a week at a time here and there, but I don't think I'll be leaving again.

Fallingtofly! OMG! How have you been? I missed you, and so many from the old days. I disappear all the time. After losing my co-author, my muse is absent. For the first time in 48 years, I have no impetus to write. The desire is there, but the challenge, the pure joy of it, is gone.

Nothing really to tell. Divorce, death, mayhem . . . the usual. All good, though. The divorce was the best part. Makes me wonder why I waited so long.
