I knew it was a joke and he's acting like I didn't know it was a joke. I was assuring him I knew he was joking and he shouldn't be telling me like I don't know the difference between a joke and reality.

"Avellan, you're making my head spin." She shot him a quick grin.

Managing to get the choking under control and with all formal ceremony, comes to her feet in a fluid grace, turning toward the lady and touching forehead, lips and heart with her fingertips, speaking in a soft tone.

"'Tis a pleasure to speak with you, Milady Luna. You grace us with your presence. As for the Elven One, that too, is my pleasure. Please, call me Cait or Caitlin if you prefer."

A wide smile, light brown eyes glinting.

"My thanks, Caitlin. I try not to intrude upon conversations. I am a shy and retiring sort."

Glares at Fr33k before he can begin giggling.

"OK, maybe not but I do try not to make women uncomfortable, especially if I know I do not contain the right parts to allow flirting. And since I converse mostly BY flirting, that means I never really speak to women who are not queer." A shrug. "However, you were so good to my friend, and such a generous person, that I felt I had to make your acquaintance, even if it was to only explain why it is that I rarely speak in your presence."

Another formal bow, before I turn to LI

"Aw, be quiet, you!!"

Wow. Ausus goes for a few days and this place becomes unrecognizable.

I mean to say that you are all in the wrong place. Gold pieces? Sorcery? The hell is wrong with you? This place was hers to drag people. Freak, ironically named, is welcome and has played wih her. Luna, too.

I'm pretty sure she didn't intend for you to turn this into some weird medieval/fantasy tavern.

Ice, I think Aus really intended this to just be another place for newbies to go and get acclimated to the Lounge without having to jump into something so rooted as the China Pearl, or venturing into tight-knit areas like Lily's After Hours Club. Sure, there are weird quirky people who perhaps have played too many RPGs set in medieval England, but if Aus had a problem with it, I'm sure she'd have stuck her head in to say "Hey! Knock that shit off!" Also, she's got a Chateau to drag people off to.

Just my two cents. *shrug*

I acknowlege the modern setting, if you'd care to look back you'd find I dressed myself quite modernly and drank Red Bull.
Now until I get official word that I'm not welcome here I will stay.

I talked to Aus myself and she said she this place is mainly for newbies and others to come along and talk or whatever.

Looks at Jimmy.

Don't listen to him. Unless Aus specifically tells you that you can't come here, then you welcome here. I don't mine you being here. Nor doesn't anyone else so it seems.

She laughed softly, "Milady Luna, I have watched you for some time. You won't make me uncomfortable I assure you. Being intelligent, I daresay you have or will, if ever curious, peek at my SRP Profile and realize I'm as straight as they come. I'm just not comfortable with women, for the most part. But I do thank you with a great deal of appreciation for taking the time to explain."

I see. No, no fun to be had at that place. Some amusing conversation with the few coworkers I enjoy talking to, though. Par for the course, really.

"Bummer," she giggled. "A boring job for such a creative mind, that must drive you crazy... at least you have nice coworkers to talk to though."

She blushed and shrugged, giggling again.

Arrives back at the Outlook and walks over to Kay.

Hello lovely, I'm back. A little late, but still.

She turned in her seat beside Fr33k to look at him; she smiled slightly.

"Hi Avellan," she said; she made no movement that conveyed her getting up.

[And... like so many times today... it seems I came in at a bad time to answer things... *sigh*]

Heh, Light Ice is a gentleman, not a lady.

Hello Kay. Good to see you.

Walks over and sits by her.

I stand corrected, it seems, and I will be glad for it when I stop troubling myself to read through the nonsense to find gems like Freak and Luna.

It has its ups and downs...it's good to have a way to pay the bills though.

Not a bad time at all. Ice was simply voicing his opinion regarding the current turn the Outlook has taken. Though I feel I must mention that if he had read Aus' opening post, the things occurring now are not too terribly far off from what she intended with the thread.

*chuckles a bit, having just missed Ice's post* And it appears he has read it now. No harm, no foul.

Thank you, though I won't be swayed by random nay-sayers.
Bit presumptuous as well, assuming I don't belong.
