Kay, this beautiful woman is my Sister in submission to our Mistress Pen. Sister, this is Kay, aka Obscure Insanity. Kay, my Sister needs me. Will you excuse me for a bit.

*Turning to my Sister, I wrap my arms around her tenderly, pulling her to the seat beside me, keeping her in a loving hug.

Well, it is best to know what your potential partner's writing style is before you commit to a story. I suspect you're like me, you probably don't want to let down your co-writers, so you probably don't like to let the story drop. The trouble is, if you don't know in advance, you can end up partnered with someone who just isn't compatible.

As for my own stories, I enjoy the fantasy genre, and usually like exploring differences between races or cultures and how it affects the intimacy between two characters thrown together.

One of the staff members brings her the drink she requested in a fancy little girly glass. She takes it and takes a tiny sip of it and nods at Thyri.

"That's true... with the only SRP I'm doing now, my partner allowed us to do a preliminary before we posted on a thread... just to make sure we meshed" she said with another nod. "And you're right. I don't want to disappoint anyone, let alone the people who rely on me for their entertainment."

She takes another sip of her drink: its better than what she remembered!

"Fantasy is probably my favorite genre." She says with a smile. "I think I'll read some of your stories: I had always wondered the intimacy level of certain races... drow and high elves, for example... that would be an interesting mix... probably reminiscent of Romeo and Juliette... at least, that'd be my take on it."

"Pleasure," she says with a smile, allowing Thyri to take her sister into her arms. She looks back out towards the ocean and allows her mind to wander into deep thought.

You would probably most like 'Opposites Attract' or 'Warring Nations.' Sadly, my partner for Warring Nations seems to have left Lit for a while. Opposites Attract is a story that is still active, about a young High Elven Ranger on her first assignment to escort a dark elf prisoner back to her kingdom. On the way, she discovers that he is not really so different from her own people, and not the horrid enemy she had always been led to believe.

Warring Nations is about a Drow princess who is tired of seeing her people slaughtered in a seemingly endless war with the High Elves. A special squad of Elves kidnaps her to take her back to their prince, who wants to enlist her help to end the war. She begins to have a bit of Stockholm Syndrome and develops an attraction for her captors.

*small smile at Avellan* Good evening Ave. Hope you are doing well.

*warm smile to Kay* It is nice to meet you and thank you so much for allowing me to steal my sister away for a bit. With our Mistress being offline, it has been helpful to both of us to have each other here. (Sister, i hope i am not putting incorrect words into your mouth).

I haven't looked at your srp profile yet Kay, but i am looking to start an srp. If we have similar interests, perhaps we could talk about a possibility.

*closes my eyes and breaths deeply, smelling the ocean air, and the lovely perfume of my elfin Sister* Sister, thank you for your support. I hope you aren't tired of hearing it yet, but I am so glad you are my Sister.

No, not at all. You speak my thoughts exactly. And I couldn't be happier to be welcomed into a relationship with two such beautiful women. And not just physical, I'm talking about the beauty of your spirit. Yours and Mistress' too.

"I look forward to reading both," she nodded; her eyes wandered to Emerald_Lilly.

She grinned.

"Anytime, miss," she said pleasantly. "And, if we do share similar interests, I would very much enjoy talking with you about a possibility."

An even broader grin formed. Yes! Another (possible) co-writer!!! She attempted to suppress her happiness as she took another sip of her drink; She rested the glass' bottom on her thigh, instead of keeping her arm in a perfect 90-degree angle, holding it, and glanced back at Avellan.

I look around the Outlook in confusion.

Where are the other guys at? Am I the only guy here? I at least expected Dragon to be here.

"I believe you are," she calls from her seat. She's tempted to stand up and walk to him, but she decides against it. She glances out towards the darkness again and bites the inside of her cheek.

Nods and Chuckles.

Hmm... well Dragon was always a good person tohave a conversation with, until the topic turned to computers or games, then I became bored.

Leans back on the couch in a more relaxed position.

Oh well. Sometimes it`s good to not have them around all the time and just have some lovely ladies for company. Smiles.

"And here I was beginning to wonder if you were going to complain."

A small laugh escaped her lips and she glanced back at him; she felt herself blushing.

"Is that right?" she asked.

She was being quite vocal, and was a little suprised by this.

"And here I was beginning to wonder if you were going to complain."

She laughed at Cait's comment, and covered her silly smile with her right hand.

Kay, I noticed that you had written with Soulweaver quite a bit. He is a wonderful writer, isn't he? I've only had a few interactions with him, traded a few PMs, posts, etc. But he always struck me as a very kind, caring gentleman.

I was reading your SRP profile. It looks quite interesting. Lately I've been pulling back from writing due to real world situations taking their toll on my creative desires. But when my mood picks up again, I might have an idea or two to approach you with. One story idea I've wanted to do, and actually started three times, was a story about an Amazon warrior who takes a rookie under her wing, so to speak, on the front lines of a fierce conflict. All three of my co-writers showed interest, but only for a post or two. Your shyness would be a perfect quality for the newcomer. How are you with battle scenes and combat descriptions of a Greek or Roman style battle? I'm imagining something like the battle between Achilles and Hector in Troy, or some of the fight scenes in Gladiator.

Dragon and Avellan ... have we had a night in the past month where one or the other of you wasn't complaining of being bored? :D

Grins and laughs.

Well there`s nevver much going on in the Outlook, the Island, or the China Pearl Inn for me except for talk, talking, and more talking. And most of the talking is with either Dragon, Glad, or Josu and it gets boring after awhile.

I try to never say I am bored. If I am with someone, it's like I am insulting them, as if it's their job to keep me amused and entertained. And if I am alone and bored, then what does that say about my own company? To me, allowing yourself to be bored is simply abdicating responsibility for finding something to be interested in. It's kind of lazy, when you think about it.

I am forever saying that boredom is a state of mind. If you feel bored, go find something to do!
