Yeah, I'm guessing blank soldiers are still trying to make their way to the base. It leaves it open for other people to join.

And I dunno...it kinda makes sense for certain units to have emergency kits for those "I'm bleeding and I'm out in the field alone so I need to stop this before I die" moments.

Well, roman soldiers and modern-days soldiers carry the exact same amount of weight: about 40Kg (~90 pounds). Only difference is that they carried that much weight in the form of a shield, a sword, heavy metal armor and a spear. Modern-days soldiers carry that much in ammunition, a main weapon and a side-weapon, camouflage vests and bullet-proof equipments, helmet, sleeping bag, emergency rations, medical supplies and some other oddities I can´t remember right now...

For the average man, carrying half of the body weight its relatively easy.

I´ve seen mushrooms with caps as big as a plate, jedi... And Portugal is not that big of producer of mushrooms.

You know, I was thinking that we need a way to identify human survivors over the comm link. This method would have to be something that the Dendrens wouldn't be able to pick up on easily, so it serves as a way to tell the difference between a human and a Dendren trying to be a human.

My idea was that the unit would have a little tune that is unique to them that the entire unit would know. The ID process would be that one person somehow plays a few notes of the tune, and if a person on the other end correctly plays the next few notes in the tune, then the first person would know that the other is friendly.

What are your thoughts?
