The Taveler {Closed}

Penny's breath got caught in her throat. He was such a gorgeous man. And to think he found her beautiful. No one had told her that before. Everyone always said how amazing she was at her work and how smart and good she was at what she did, but not once was she complimented on her looks. She couldn't help but blush.

Men were always intimidated of her. They were all weak in her book if that was the case and didn't really mind not being in a relationship with any of those losers. But Matt didn't back down. He didn't sugarcoat anything. He said what was on his mind.

“Thank you Penny, but I’m not going anywhere now. You don’t think I would leave you alone were you?”

Penny flushed even deeper. So many innuendos ran through her mind, but surely, he didn't mean what she thought. He was only concerned for her. Yes. Yes. He was only showing concern.

"I'm really fine," she stuttered at indecent thoughts ran through her head. It was hard to stomp down, but she was slowly succeeding. "You should really celebrate your birthday. You know, do what you want. get what you want."

Matt caught her looking at him but he didn’t let on, and kept on talking though he couldn’t stop thinking about it. Matt was also very frank about things and didn’t mince on words. He just told it as he saw it, and having seen more of her than any other woman before, it kind hit him below the belt so to speak. He didn’t intend to come to her, but wouldn’t deny it to himself that he was attracted to her.

Matt was also down to earth kind guy, and very pleasant to most people and ready to help if they need his help and Penny was in bad need of help.

"I'm really fine," she stuttered, and he looks at her knowing very well she was not fine, not here in the 1800.

"You should really celebrate your birthday. You know, do what you want. Get what you want." She told him.

This might surprise you Penny, but I am doing what I want and have always. Celebrating is fine when you think it’s the right time to celebrate, but celebrating when there are more important things going around you it’s not the right time. I can go down and get a bottle of wine and we can celebrate here, if you want me to celebrate.” He told her smiling.

Penny sighed, knowing that whatever she said, the man was going to be a gentleman. At the same time, she couldn't help but notice that was missing in her time: a gentleman who was also an Alpha. He wasn't the kind of person she could tell what to do, but at the same time, he wasn't a jerk. Him being both was actually the biggest turn on for her. Usually, guys she knew were either powerful haughty jerks or really weak men who give into women.

"You're celebrating with me? But I'm a total stranger." Penny blinked, but knew she wasn't going to win the argument. She gave in. "Alright. Happy Birthday, Matt. If the wine's dated, can I see the bottle? If I'm going to go back to my time, I want everyone to see that I drank wine that's two hundred years old."

"You're celebrating with me? But I'm a total stranger." She told him. Matt looked at her for a minute before answering her.

Penny didn’t you just tell me to celebrated my birthday. I’m going to celebrate with you, I don’t see why not unless you don’t want to.

"Alright. Happy Birthday, Matt. If the wine's dated, can I see the bottle? If I'm going to go back to my time, I want everyone to see that I drank wine that's two hundred years old." Again Matt looked her with the same what look.

“What are you talking about, what date, I never saw no date on the bottle. You wait here and I’ll get a bottle. Minutes later he was back with two bottles and handed her one. You look at that I’ll look at this one.” He told her. Matt couldn’t find and dates on the bottle. “There is not date on my bottle, about yours, you see any date on it?” he asked.

No date?

Penny watched Matt's backside again as he left. Alone, she pouted. How was she going to prove she drank vintage wine? Granted she was drinking it when it wasn't vintage yet, but still, there were bragging rights she had to think about when she got home. Plus that would be very impressive to her boss who was a collector of all things old.

Matt came back handing her a bottle and she checked every nook and cranny of the bottle, but found none herself. Sighing, she picked up her phone anyway and took a selfie with it, making sure that the bottle label was clearly seen.

"That's a crying shame," she pouted after taking her photo. "No date. I have no clue about wines, so the date's all I've got to prove. Anyway..." She turned back to him, cheery once again. "To you, and to many more birthdays to come!"

“No date” she replied.

“Matt shrugged his shoulder the said. “Sorry Penny, maybe they started to put dates later.” He said.

He had opened the bottle so he wouldn’t have to go back down stairs, now that they were celebrating his birthday together.

"That's a crying shame," she said pouting. He saw take that gadget she had and pointed at the bottle.

"No date. I have no clue about wines, so the date's all I've got to prove. Anyway..." She turned back to him, cheery once again. "To you, and too many more birthdays to come!" She told him.

Tank you Penny I’ll drink to that.” He said and took gulp of wine from the bottle.

She took a sip and smiled. "I have to say, this is good for something that's not dated." She took out her phone once again and stood beside him. "You don't mind if I take a photo, do you? I mean, this memory is too good to waste, right?"

Penny took a sip of wine from the bottle. "I have to say, this is good for something that's not dated." She said.

Matt watched her take what she call phone and move right next to him touching shoulders.

"You don't mind if I take a photo, do you? I mean, this memory is too good to waste, right?" She said.

She put the phone in front of them then he heard the sound click. He had no idea how something that small that the front looked like glass could take a picture.

“I drink to you Penny for celebrating my birthday with me.” He said taking another sip of wine.

"It's the least I can do," Penny said drinking her own wine and sighing at the photo. She knew that back home, she couldn't prove she had traveled back in time and people would be asking who was the hottie with her. What she would say to that, she had no idea.

"It's the least I can do," Penny replied back taking another sip of the wine. Matt was hoping she wouldn’t drunk too much, but being in her shoes he couldn’t really blame her for it.

“Penny I’m really glad you came here however that happen, I mean I’m sorry this happen to you, but glad that you’re here and not somewhere else. I’m really going to miss you when you’re gone.” He told her wondering why he said that. Maybe it was all the wine they been drinking.

Penny blinked in surprise. He was happy she came into his life as much as nuisance as she was? That made her heart skip. She took another drink to calm herself.

"So, what do you do for fun around here?" She asked diverting the topic to focus herself. She couldn't be infatuated with him. He was right, she was going to leave and she couldn't afford to be too attached. It would really affect her work.

"So, what do you do for fun around here?"

She asked. Matt had to think that one out. There wasn’t much to do really, except the gambling houses or the barn dance. He didn’t go to gambling houses because to many fights and too much shooting, and seen her taking another sip of wine, he thought better than to take her to a gambling house.

“Gambling houses, barn dancing not much else really. The gambling houses are bad, there’s always fighting people getting drunk then start shooting. Not for me. He said.

She thought back on the gambling houses in old Western movies she'd seen. Honestly, she wanted very much to see them in real life. Did they really hit each other on the head with bottles? Were these houses really wrecked? But even with her curiosity, she respected his decision.

"Well, I've never done a barn dance before. Would you care to teach me?"

Matt could see Penny was thinking, and he hoped she wasn’t thinking of going to the gambling houses.

"Well, I've never done a barn dance before. Would you care to teach me?" She asked him.

Matt had danced many times before, but after starting his restaurant he was too busy to go dancing. He wasn’t sure he could teach her, but he thought about for a moment.

“I suppose I could teach you, but it would be better if we had some music, and you can’t go with what you’re wearing.” He told her looking at those lovely legs of hers. “We’ll go to the dance after we get you some clothes that you can walk outside without getting arrested.” He told her smiling at her.

“Though it’s such a shame to cover those beautiful legs of yours.” He said smiling.

Penny smiled at the prospect of learning something new,and wearing something authentically dated. But when he talked about her legs, she got a little flustered. In her time, such remarks would either earn a slap or a look of disdain, but the way he said it with sincerity made her blush, feeling like she was brazenly baring her wares.

"Thanks! That would be great! Also, maybe we could go around? Maybe there's something I can do to help you."

The next morning being Sunday the restaurant was close and Matt went out early. Penny was still sleeping and he left her a note.

“I’m out getting you a dress. Get yourself ready to wear the new dress and we’ll go for pancake breakfast. The dance is every Sunday afternoon.”

Matt. :rose:

Penny rubbed her eyes, surprised that it was morning. They had been drinking all night and she didn't realize she had passed out. Seeing the note on the table, she read it and smiled. "Oh, he's so sweet."

Deciding to get ready, she went into their shared bathroom and took a bath hoping to get ready by the time he arrived and help out immediately.

Matt was able to get one dress that he thought she would like, at least he hoped she would. He looked around some more to see how many more dresses were left for Penny to look at later. He made another stop at another store, and again he looked at the quality of the material. He was glad he stopped here. He noticed they had more dresses to choose from, though he did like the one he already got for her.

He headed back to hid place and went right up the stairs to show her the dress. He stops as Penny is coming out from the bathroom naked.

Shopping was always a long ritual for Penny and most girls she knew, so, not knowing how quickly men, shopped, she thought that it would be a long time before Matt came back. Unfortunately, as soon as she stepped out of the bath, Matt had come into her door as well. For a moment, she couldn't move as shock registered on her face, displaying her nicely-shaped D cups and hairless body to him before she squeaked and hid behind the door.

"I am so sorry..." she said, red faced, the towel out of her reach. "I thought you were going to be out for a while..."

Damn...he must think I'm some whore... she thought.

Matt was so shocked seen Penny totally naked he even dropped the package. Matt froze on the spot with his eyes wide open looking at that luscious body, and unfortunate was getting arouse, and with the package not on the floor couldn’t even hide anything. He knelled down and grabs it and stands up with the package in front of him.

"I am so sorry..." she said, and he could see how red her faced was,
He was speechless, never in his life had he seen a naked woman, never mind one that looked like Penny. She had the perfect body, at least it was in his eyes.

“I I’m sorry Penny I didn’t know you were taking a bath.” He said looking her up and down not being able to stop while she just stood there looking at him. Then she moved behind the door, maybe she was in shock and couldn’t move fast enough he thought to himself.

"I thought you were going to be out for a while..." She added a moment later.
“I got you the dress because I thought your would like this one, but if not we can go out again after you’re ready.”

"U-uh...okay..." Penny nodded. "Ah...maybe you could hand me the towel and the clothes?"

As soon as she received the clothes, she closed the door and dressed. As expected, he didn't buy any underwear, but then again, she couldn't ask him to, could she? The dress was a perfect fit, hugging her int he right places and billowing in others. Maybe once she was earning money, she could buy her own underwear. She didn't want to impose on him anymore, and with the clothes she was wearing, who would know she was naked underneath the clothing?

Smiling she stepped out. "It's beautiful. Thank you. Maybe we can buy one more just for change. I'll wash them alternately."

"U-uh...okay..." Penny nodded. "Ah...maybe you could hand me the towel and the clothes?" She asked him.

Matt hurried a little and hands her the towel and the package. “Here” this is the dress I got for you and I hope you like it.” He told her. Penny took everything and went into her room to change. While his mind was on her naked body still fresh in his mind. He sat down while he waited for her.

He turned when he heard the door and Penny came out wearing the dress. He was happy as the dress fitted her really well and she looked just as beautiful.

"It's beautiful. Thank you. Maybe we can buy one more just for change. I'll wash them alternately." She told him.

“You welcome Penny and you look just as beautiful with that dress on as you did before. He said smiling at her. “I guess now we can go for pancake breakfast first, and then we’ll go shopping in another store.” He said looking at her.

"Alright." Penny smiled. "Maybe you can teach me how to make your pancakes so that I can make them instead. You're working so, I want to help as much as I can."

She considered what she was offering him. She couldn't cook, nor could she wash clothes, but she could always do anything when she put her mind to it. At least so far as anything she had ever done in her life.

"Alright." Penny smiled. "Maybe you can teach me how to make your pancakes so that I can make them instead. You're working so, I want to help as much as I can." She said.

Matt had think about what she just said for a moment. “Penny I think you misunderstood me. The restaurant is closed today, and we’re going to have pancake at the pancake house.” He told her smiling.

“The owner of the pancake house might teach you if you’ll ask her, and her name his Mamma Jimena.”

"Oh." Penny blushed realizing her mistake. "Sorry. Do you think she'd mind if I asked?" She asked Matt as they went toward the place he was talking about.

As soon as they went through the entryway, an elderly lady greeted them with a smile on her face. She knew Matt and Penny could only assume that this was Mamma Jimena that he had been talking about.
