I suppose I'm the StoryTeller for this little adventure. Characters are loosely based on AD&D but as you can tell, that is just a basic guideline. I think I once explained my story best as 'one part Dand D, two parts freeform story writing and one part whatever my imagination can come up with.'
To play you only need to review post 171 for a synopsis of what's happening and agree with my rules in post 172, (page 7). Then make up a bio here, using the same guidelines as the others have.

Background: No living relatives. All of my family were killed by a rogue mage and I'm looking for this mage to make my revenge! Before my father was killed, he told me that we were of royal blood. But, he was killed before he could who and what kingdom. Hopefully, someday, I will find out. But first REVENGE!!

Hey guys,
What's up with the posting? No conversations? No interaction? No character development? No budding romances, no mysterious twists of fate?
This is (was?) still free-form RP. I will post senarios and help guide you all through the 'main plot' and thrown in some side twists, but feel free to write and post as you will. There is still alot of ground to cover until you get to the marshes and there are hills and forests teeming with evil bad nasties out there. You don't need me to describe every rock and tree.
In fact, I am often inspired by what my players write and post.
Never fear, I will step in to add spice and adventure as you go, but feel free to add to it, especially among yourselves.
After all, this is our story.
Play on fellow adventurers.

appearance: about 6'3" 280, dark red hair. covered in blue warrior tattoos and honour scars. wears a torc and tartan and no armor
weapons: 6 foot glaive (butt to point) with an 18 inch long blade, 3 foot sword, shield, various knives and two hand axes
Companions: his horse Setanta, his spirit wolf Eoghain, and the elder raven Conchobar
history: at 27, Cormac is considered an elder warrior among a warrior people. At age 14, riada are blooded, by undertaking a quest to kill their spirit animal, in the Elder forest. It was on this quest that Cormac met his wolf companion.Amazingly instead of having to kill his spirit wolf, when they met they saw too much a kindred spirit in each other and could not bring themselves to attack each other out of their brotherhood. On this blooding, they teamed up to kill an Orc Warband preparing to raid an outlying Riada village. Due to this action he earned the name Wolf-Brother. At age 18, he tamed Setanta, son of the Horseking, and Setanta became his mount. His taming of Setanta allowed him to attack the Goblin Boar Riders who threatened his village and defeat them in detail. That is when the goddess sent the Elder Raven Conchobar to him. His clann took this as an omen and called him "Favored of Danu." Conchobar acts an advisor and messenger for Cormac, and is not averse to getting his talons and beak dirty to protect his charge. He is famous among all Riada for the defense of Stonebridge against a large orc warband until reinforcements could arrive. He was exiled from his own Bladesong clann for killing one of his clansmen, although he only killed his clansman because his clansman raped Cormac's sister Sionann. Due to these circumstances, and his status as Favored of Danu he may return upon the completion of a mighty quest. He is a matchless rider, and a warrior who has never met his equal.

Hello,
Your intro post is #423 (I think) in the main thread. Currently, you are not with the group nor do you have anything to do with them. You have a seperate adventure for now. Depending on what you and the others choose to do, you may never really meet, but all adventures, encounters and even my 'mood posts', are all connected in some way.
Perhaps an encounter you may have might prove interesting to another group...if you ever manage to share the information.....

Seeing as how the original story thread is over 400 posts and we have moved onto a 'new chapter', I have gone ahead and made a new thread for us all.

Irish, You're good to go but I think your critters are just critters that have decided to follow you for now. Beware that your animals are 'fair game' under the Splattable rule. I'll make your intro post ASAP.
