How the HELL does a renowned repair company (I won't say the name - Cyber Test) have the balls to send my laptop back claiming it was fixed? The keyboard is fucked (now using an external USB KB ).

Don't know what to do do.... keep writing as I am or send it back for repair.

Call them and bitch at them plenty, then see how competently they handle you. If you still have some faith in them after that, consider sending it back in. Maybe it was a one-time screw up.

I'm so kind-hearted that it kills me. The female rep I was working with seemed competent until the end. She asked "does the computer work?"

I said "Yes, except the keyboard".

"But everything else is fine?"

And I answered, "Yes, it's great. Except the keyboard is not working."

And she laughed a bit. "Thank you then, enjoy!"

So what do I do? Send my laptop back to some incompetent entity, or live with a fucked keyboard?

Hello. I'm not sure what it says about me to have my first post on Lit complaining about my life... but hey, this is the internet, what do i care?

I'm a naturalized Canadian, although i haven't lived in Canda (prior to my visa problems) in 8 years. So right now, I'm living in a hostel in Toronto, trying to find a more permenant place to live, while everyone i know and love (parents, friends, girl friend) are back in Boston. Normally not so much of a problem... except i can't go back to see them since i've had some visa problems before and the US border control wont let me back into the US unless i'm going there for school... and hey, guess what? My school didn't give me a response in time, so i can't go back to school this semester.
Now it's 6 AM, and i havent been able to get back to sleep for about an hour and a half now.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I LOVE cats. I used to have 2 back when i lived in canada, but havent had any since i moved to the US ... and for some reason have developed an allergy to them ;_; but ofcourse, i still sniff and kiss them when i get a chance, then deal with the sniffles and sneezes later
Whenever i see a cat i go all mushy and... err... very very un-man-ly >_> I blame the parasites! (even tho i'm not the jealous type at all, heh)

The first one - Taz - she passed away last year, actually.

The second is Jonesey - he's actually the oldest. He's 18 now - that's a pic from two years ago. He's a tough ex-farm kitty.

The third is Midnight - mama - rescued stray. The little one on her is Kiwi. She's a year old now.

The last one is Eej - he is one year younger than Jonesey.

We have others.

All indoor.

We do have an outside enclosure. They can go out via basement window access but they are safe.

And we feed neighborhood strays.

We're suckers for hardluck cases.

awwww We tried taking in a stray before, but our cat was really hostile towards it, so we had to let him go :/
