Thanks, Blue... but I looked this morning and it's headed for the basement haha
I guess people have no sence of slightly perverted holiday humor.
I thought it was funny.

A couple of years ago, I got a comment saying "you no like krismas. Fuck you" and a "1 bomb" haha![]()
Ahh....the world wide web. Your story was funny and well-written, too. I liked see the New Jersey towns in it. Made it real.
Am 3,500 words into my top secret holiday contest story. I hope to finish it by Sunday night.
I posted #2 tonight. It can't do worse than #1.![]()
I have my idea and believe it or not, it includes vampires. *grins*

Oh how wrong I was![]()
Bit slow taking off, but it's early days.
Still trying to polish the Pulitzer piece I never finished off last year.
With all the variations on RVC's that come from different categories and warp the contests, couldn't we just have one cat, 'contest' for the scrabble. It would put non-erotic on the same basis as incest.
Just a thought.
Personally, I like the Idea. I'd love to hear some input on this from some of the other long term authors.
have been there

This story struck a very personal chord with me. Several years ago I spent every day for 11 weeks going to see my beloved wife in intensive care. I was there the night she died and believe me you hit the emotions perfectly. In fact ,I was in tears by the time I finished it. Thank you.
Yep, responses like that are reason and reward enough to write stories and post them.
Pilot, this is off the topic of the thread, but I just saw the weather report. Are you okay where you are?
I think I may have made an oopsy.
Are we talking calender winter here? Or does "seasonal winter", to coin a term, count too?You know... let us say that dark and cold time after harvest but before planting.
In other words, does Thanksgiving count?
Without thinking, I used the magic phrase while posting a Thanksgiving story. Personally, I like that holiday a lot because it seems the least commercial. Not as cold as New Year's, either.![]()

This is something I never do, but this comment to A Long Christmas Good Bye touched me in an unexpected way.
Thank you. Enough said.
I bet that pretty much made up for any kind of votes. Sure would do it for me.
Now, I need to go read that story. Last time I checked for winter stories all I got was the Halloween contest winner. Can't figure out how I'm clicking wrong.
