DD, I wish MMO and I were jumping each other's bodies. It is Friday morning here and she is on call. I will not really see her until Monday evening. She is always tired after call and I will have the kids by myself, so it will be awhile before more pictures.

Cricket is really simple... 22 players.. 11 each side... you stand around for half the game occasionally getting to bowl (sort of overarm throw) a smallish, but very hard, ball at the opponent and he has to hit it, prefereably with his cricket bat... if you carry the boundry with the hit, its 6 points... if it bounces before the boundry, its 4 points... whatever, happens you try to run between a load of sticks in the ground as many times as possible (think of them as bases) without the sticks (stumps) being knocked over... once 10 people are out on that side, you swap over and have a chance at batting... you do this twice each over 5 days in a cricket test and then the team with the most points (runs) wins... Simple !!!

Of course there are many silly rules like "Leg before Wicket" (LBW), etc. but its simple really... Just remember, if you ever get to play the game:-

Getting hit by the ball REALLY hurts !!!

If you are out, you walk off... you don't argue... you just walk...
The LBW rule confuses everyone... its just there to add a bit of confusion into a very structured game

The reason for the 5 day test match confuses most people, but I think it is just an excuse to get pissed-up on the evenings in between !!!

I thought they were little black bugs that you could use to tell the temperature with-I feel foolish now having killed whole teams at one time before Go ahead and adulterate his thread-whoever "Made him do it" isn't putting much pressure on him anymore

Looked at this again and left the scoring part out-but it sounds like American football teams playing baseball using a variation of football scoring but still standing around enough to scratch their nuts on TV.
