No, the vast majority of people use the same restrooms and locker rooms day in, day out, with no hassles. And the vast majority of people who are obliged to share facilities with different people manage to cope with it. So you're talking about a tiny fraction of the population being forced to share a restroom or locker room with different people that they would object to.As a man, I don't go into the rooms dedicated to giving women privacy when they shower, change clothes, or take a dump. I also expect the same decency so I don't end up showering next to some naked woman.
The idea that men with issues should be showering or pooping next to nude women isn't right, and there are problems with that.
FurryToes, since you asked me specifically, I'll answer. No, I don't own every public/retail restroom, locker room, shower, or changing room. I alone can't dictate the rules for them, but society has for centuries. Men and women get separate spaces for that stuff. You personally, phrodeau, also don't own those rooms, so you also can't make the rules.
This is another example of liberal lunacy. Causing all of this big stink over an issue that effects 1% of the population, and only a fraction of those directly effected really want these bathroom-sharing rules. But yet the majority of people have to deal with catering to feelings of the uber-minority.

They are not men. They are women born with male genitals. It was what is in the human mind that makes us who we are. Not some appendage dangling between our legs.
In your case I could be wrong.
Typical stupid leftist answer.

What about the gays and lesbians? What about the blacks and hispanics? What about the Jews and Mormons? Can we have them all showering together? Won't there be problems? Kids can't help themselves. They all become gang rapists at the sight of strange genitals. One of the biggest examples is in schools with teenagers. These teens, basically big children, already have enough body issues when getting naked around people that already look like them. When you tell 30 teen girls that Samuel now wants to be called Samantha, will be joining them in the showers, there will be problems. When you say that if the 30 teen girls show any other reaction than joy about some naked man-child getting naked with them, that there is something wrong with the girls, you're an idiot. If you put a naked Samantha, who wants to be Samuel, in the showers with 30 testosterone raged teen man-child peoples, and not expect a problem, you're an idiot.
Do you really believe that is a "typical liberal"?
Blah blah blah. If you say something intelligent, you may reap an intelligent response.
You got the appropriate, factually correct and entirely accurate response.
You're still an idiot.![]()
How is it not? LOL
From wanting to legislate peoples rights to religious freedoms away to child indoctrination in public schools everyone left of center has gone full on social justice warrior and hater of the evil white males who are all natural born slave owners and patriarchal Nazi's.
^^ Openly hates and opposes free speech.
I average out to be politically down the middle, so I really have no dog in this fight and I'm kind of looking at this from a step back. And I just want you to ask you to explain this comment further. I want you to give a couple examples of liberals legislating away religious freedoms.
Civil Rights for women and LGBTQ+. Giving women the right to vote, and viewing women as a real person instead of a second class citizen.
Religious freedom is an oxymoron.

Nobody gives a shit what a morally corrupt lunatic such as yourself has to say. You wouldn't know intelligence if it slapped you in the face.
you too.Your first paragraph about no Christian groups is not true. Most of your argument seems to be from citing one or two anecdotal examples. All of your examples involve schools... public schools. The goal of public schools is not to promote religious activity. You are perfectly allowed to raise your kids to be Christian and even send them to a Christian school. Your children, just like Muslims, are even allowed to pray in school. The school just can't make people pray, for any religion. Religious freedom means you can hold your own religious beliefs, express them, and practice them. It doesn't mean that a public school has to call a break during the winter "Christmas break." In fact, the only religiously discriminatory name would be calling it Christmas break because that's dedicating a public school break to one religious. If the schools called a break Ramadan break you would be furious.
In most US schools it is difficult, if not impossible, to have a Christian-based student club, prayer group, or Bible club.
In case you missed it, I said:
Yes there are plenty of them that exist, but good luck starting a new one. Yes, a public school isn't supposed to force a religion on people, and that's part of the example I was stating. There are some groups that bring lawsuits against schools (or at least threaten to) in their quest to actively remove the Christian groups, as well as ensure there is no mention of the religion unless it's for something like history class.
The select item I heard first-hand about was to illustrate one example. There's *tons* of other stories online, but since they don't fit the liberal agenda, links would be called "fake news". There wasn't fakery in that instance when I heard it directly by those who experienced it. There also wasn't any 'angle' the kids used since none of them were religious.
Yes, you can hold whatever belief system you want, but as long as it's a Christian one, you can't express it. Not even the students on the football field can make a gesture as if they are praying or saying "thanks God" after they make a touchdown. And the coach will get fired for doing it. But if you're a Muslim and want extra time for praying several times a day, then the school officials fall over themselves to make sure the students have a separate space for their prayers, and they don't even get in trouble for getting back to class late. Because liberal logic.
You asked for examples, and said you were "kind of looking at this from a step back", but it sure doesn't sound like it. Sounds like you're liberal apologist
I'm certainly not a liberal apologist. I have criticized the progressive movement many times for being so quick to dismiss everyone on the right as racist and ignorant. But I think you've just heard a bunch of stories that you've complied to fit in wit your beliefs. Do you have any hard data on the number of lawsuits against Christian school groups? Do you have hard data on how many coaches and players have gotten in trouble? Over 70% of this country is Christian. We are the most Christian developed nation in the world. We have never had any president in this country that hasn't publicly stated to be a Christian. I would be the first person to condemn an attack on religious freedom, but how can you suggest your religion is under attack when that religion is the most prominent one in the country?
I'm not looking up the stats on my phone.
Quick search for some specifics yields:
http://www.cnn.com/2015/10/29/us/washington-football-coach-joe-kennedy-prays/index.html
http://www.breitbart.com/big-govern...bible-he-s-not-permitted-to-read-those-books/
Of course you won't see stuff like that most of the time on HuffPo, but I remembered the first one because even the U.K. ran the story. There probably is some breakdown on all the stats, but most don't make the news because the big news media doesn't really care. I have seen a few places that focus on homeschooling have more data on stuff like that.
So if you aren't liberal leaning, then why the change in direction? First you asked for examples, then in response you listed why my comment didn't really count. Now it's nothing more than 'incidental fluff filling my head", so now you want me to give you stats. Even if I did post links for stats, will you say it's FakeNews because of whatever source it came from?
Awww you love me, you really do. I knew you did. It was just a matter of time before you professed your undying devotion to me.
Iyou too.
In most US schools it is difficult, if not impossible, to have a Christian-based student club, prayer group, or Bible club. You can't even refer to the Christmas holiday as 'Christmas' because it refers to Christ and the Christian faith. It's the Winter Break now. Atheists and liberals are working hard to ensure there is no religious expression for anything related to Christianity.
But now we have muslims clamoring for their holidays to be recognized. There are many schools who now set aside private rooms for muslims to pray during ramadan (ignoring the fact they can get their rounds of prayers in during already established breaks).
Studies of the world's religions does continue, but poorly. I heard first-hand from several students in middle school (grades 7-8, ages around 13-ish) how that went. They spent less than one hour (each) covering the Catholic and Protestant religions, Buddists, Jews, Amish, etc. No homework, very limited testing, and just straight reading from the textbook they aren't allowed to bring home. Muslim stuff though, that got a full week, because feelings. There were a couple tests, big poster board homework, videos, and full-on glowing admiration from the teacher.
Any complaints about the curriculum was pushed back harshly, saying it's racist to oppose the teacher's view of the course.
Thanks liberals. That's sure helping a lot. Good job with the indoctrination.
It makes me appear as a complete badass who makes all Liberals shiver in fear.
