It's Monday morning on a winter day
I've just logged on now for something nice to say
As of late I've not slept all that well
Ones mind gets busy thru words we can tell
But we cannot continue to live life all alone
In a feeling of alone yet with others in the home
So reach up to that edge and get a tight hold
Pull yourself out make the day yours, get bold
The trick is to do it and not slip back down
In lifes little station like a hole in the ground
Now the suns coming up it's starting the day
Have a good week, that's all I wanted to say

I woke early one morning,
The earth lay cold and still
When suddenenly a tiny bird
Perched on my window sill,
He sang a song so lovely

That slowly all my troubles
Began to slip away.
He sang of far off places
Of laughter and of fun,
It seemed his very trilling
brought up the morning sun.
I stirred beneath the covers
Crept slowly out of bed,
Then gently shut the window
And crushed his fucking head!
A morning person I am not
