To those who know me~ I am now almost a Republican

Ok Uncle Fester.

What's your republican plan then?

Do nothing?

How about: let people buy the insurance they want to buy, rather than making providers cover an ever longer list of mandatory provisions in every policy they offer?

Too radical?

Sorry to confuse you. Go back to your hissy fit about salaries.

Yes, I get that but we're coddling the little bastards. A 26 year old has no business being on their parents insurance. Fucking moocher. Get a job.

The whole concept behind the health insurance reform legislation and increased numbers of people with coverage is enabling people to get health insurance by mooching off of others in a variety of ways.

My boss searched for a new plan he could afford and was comparable. I used to pay $263 a month, now it's $465.

You have kids, right? Small firm? That sounds about right. What is your deductable?

You're not alone. I'm pretty sure most fell for it.

It would be nice to actually see positive changes, I realize it takes gererations but the way we are heading looks bleak. I would not bring a kid into todays world.

You pay 13 grand for health insurance, don't work but have a bunch of crap about corporations in your sig?

*coughs* bullshit *coughs*

I do not have a "bunch of crap about corporations", There are 5 words and a gif implying 'going green' is profitable. So cough and say bullshit all you want but it is wise to check your facts and the reputation of someone for being able to back up what they say here first before you start calling them a bullshitter and something a pic implies call a bunch of crap

Last year, GE's "Ecomagination" line of products generated $10 billion in revenues in 2005, and is on track to eclipse $20 billion by 2010.http://www.cnn.com/2006/BUSINESS/12/14/environment/index.html
Going green has never been as profitable as it right now, and it looks as though this business trend is just getting started

You wanna know how much I can back up what I say? I'm LEED certified fer fuck's sake.

*looks around at all the suckers who came in to drool-cheer on their new right-wing homecoming queen*

Yep, looks like it worked. :D
You mean she was only kidding?

Damn, Hellbaby, you had me suckered!

Cool, I am going for solar installation then maybe LEED,mostly for personal reasons and community activism.
However, how does the fact you are
leed certified disprove there is money in green business? Why did you spend all that time and money to become certified if you did not think it would be profitable? If anything it proves my point.

Easy, I make more money with my job being LEED certified, clients in my business like that.

And THAT is the soul of a real leftist.

Is your goal to make communities more self-sufficient when it comes to energy?

Lucky you, mine went up $200 a month.

My copay doubled for the GP and quadrupled for gyno. Meds went down for generic and up if you choose name brand or there is no generic. Lab work was free and now is $40 for blood work my kid needs regularly.

She's got more brains, more integrity, and more balls, than all of the left wing males on the GB.

I've got brains and balls and no problem admitting when I am wrong but there are a few left wing men who can hold there own better than me. (Not many from the right though:D)

Hell yes. I would love to see every town go off the grid, that is what energy independence means to me- not selling back your solar power at a reduced rate to the electric companies so they can profit from it and make you buy from them at night. Government incentives, at least in PA., require you to have smart meters to monitor usage and charge accordingly and do not allow off grid battery backed installation.

What load of shit.

You really need to take some educational courses on how efficient green energy is, not just read blogs. You would be surprised on construction costs and maintenance involved.

Gee, so you make more money by going green, my fucking point exactly:rolleyes:

You're a little slow. I make more money because I'm LEED certified, because more clients use my services because of the certification. It has nothing to do with my company going green.

I'm not a fan of green. I prefer reds and blues. I do have one room that's a quirky green but I see a coat of paint in it's future. Maybe a yellow. I don't have any yellow in the house at the moment.
