Tonight, Pennsylvania will tell us everything re: Republicans & Trump

According to the PA Dept of State web site, as of 10:12 PM ET, 568 out of 593 districts (95.78%) are reporting. Their totals shows:

Lamb - 49.99%
Saccone - 49.39%
Miller - 0.61%

There is a 1,200 vote margin between the two which is oddly the same amount Miller has received.

NYT has a map showing upreported districts.

I haven't really followed this and can't spell or pronounce the name of the Republican candidate, who looks like a real loser. I understand the Democrat is distancing himself from Nancy Pelosi, so he's not totally batshit crazy, but a lot of Democrats act sane before the election and then forget they were for borders and the 2nd Amendment once they get elected.

Conor Lamb leads by 0.3 percentage points, or 585 votes, over Rick Saccone with 98 percent of precincts fully reporting.

This race is as tight as AJ wishes Rightguide's asshole was.

Rather than popcorn, the proper anticipation snack for Pennsylvania is oyster crackers.

It isn't accurate. They show all of Westmoreland County with no results yet the official PA site shows only 22 precincts not reporting:

http://electionreturns.pa.gov/

Westmoreland isn't reporting results by precinct, which is why the map on the NYT site isn't filled in. But they are reporting results.

Currently a 700-vote lead, and most of the absentee votes come from the (relatively) blue Pittsburgh burbs. Lamb looks like he's going to hold on.

Sigh, PA is the redneck state of the northeast except for Philly and Pitt. Hopefully he can pull a win.

They are holding the votes back from reporting in conservative Washington county, trying to see how many additional votes they need to give Saccone a "stunning come from behind victory".

When will they pull out the "special" ballot box someone found behind a dumpster?

145 votes apart and not all counties will be county their absentee ballots tonight. I’m not seeing how this will be called this evening.

The really sad part about PA voting is there is no verifiable paper trail. No way to do a real recount if necessary. The only ones which can be counted are the absentee ballots.

Really? I did not know that. I’m gonna go look that up.

Sounds like a lot more absentee ballots sent to residence Allegheny County than the others.

We use a few different types of machines. The ones I vote on simply have a roll of paper on which votes are recorded. However, that doesn't tell you if who you voted for was correctly recorded.

The same with the fancier electronic touch screens. All they do is look at what the machine says was recorded. There is no auditing to see if the votes were recorded correctly.
