Tonight, Pennsylvania will tell us everything re: Republicans & Trump

And historically, this has been a very very very red district

Apparently not that red...not that blue either.

Nope...you know even less. You win by running in the middle.

Someone didn't pay attention last election.

Did you not learn anything from ACA? Obviously not.

ACA was the middle ground...LOL

(D)'s had the opportunity to do WHATEVER THEY WANTED....and they did (R)omney care, and it cost them DEARLY.

Hillary was the problem. Better than a known socialist Bernie.

Edit: And Mr Daily is going to win by alienating Independents:rolleyes:

Independents voted for Trump. You know why? Because he didn't pander to the middle and water down his message. If you don't understand that, then you're a part of the problem with the Democratic party.

So you're going to win an election by playing to the middle, huh?

How'd that work out for Hillary Clinton?
She won the nation by 2.8 million votes, as predicted. She lost the game by 77k votes in 3 counties. Ten million more voted against Tromp than for him so he took the game. It's a funny game, hey? Like gerrymandering, it rewards the vote luzers. How well is that working out?

It is true that Silly Hilly received a plurality of the popular vote in 2016. It's also true that more people voted against Trump than for him. You say it was ten million, and I won't argue the point. However, even you must admit there were about seven million more votes against Silly Hilly than for her. In fact, more people voted for Republicans than for Democrats, including the votes for Gary Johnson, who had been the GOP governor of a state, NM I believe, but I'm not going to look that up.

You keep repeating "77,000 votes in three counties" but never go into any details. To what counties do you refer? I might be able to figure it out on my own, but I don't know that it would be worthwhile. It is known that Trump carried four "battleground" states - WI, MI, OH and PA. Those states probably have about 300 counties and Trump won some and Silly Hilly won some, with Trump probably winning more counties than she did. If I felt like it, which I don't, I could probably inspect the results in all those counties and determine which ones you mean, and I could probably locate three counties in the four states where Silly Hilly won by a similar total.

However, this seems like a colossal waste of time. For one thing, county totals mean nothing; a state is won by the candidate who gets the most total votes in that state. More important, the question is now moot. The election was held over 16 months ago and Trump was inaugurated almost 14 months ago, and none of these things are going to change. I suppose you can cry about it and gnash your teeth, but nothing will change.

Nobody has ever disputed that.
Any time some retarded right wing fuckwit says "the people have spoken" it is always relevant to point out Clinton got more votes than Trump. It's also worth mentioning that Trump has explicitly expressed a total hatred of the Electoral College.

OMG. She won the Popular votes and Trump narrowly got the Electoral votes. I don't know, exactly, how that Electoral vote works in reality vs idealistically. It's some fucked up shit that's dissolutioned us all.

Anyway, I haven't seen anything thus far about this matter the OP started this thread on. Probably so tremendously overwhelming all the major networks overloaded, cameras got fried, internet went down, etc.. Stranger things have happened. Probably on some little know AM station somewhere out there.

You wouldn't be saying this if projections looked good for the Republican tonight. Everyone knows you deplorables are hypocritical liars with zero credibility. ;)

And you wouldn't be posting this thread if you didn't feel the dem had a good chance to win.

Post all you want, yap all you want, you're the one who in 2016 started your 'will you be here election night' to mock all the right wingers who you were so sure were going to not show up because your girl was going to win...

What happened then? Hmmm?

So strut like a little snowflake peacock all you want. You suffered the worst political loss on this board ever.

And no one will forget it.

And you before anyone else should be on your knees thanking the Good Lord day and night for that!

By the same token though, anytime someone points out Clinton won popular vote and bitches about the electoral college....remember it was the Democrats who pulled the Super delegates to hand Hillary the nomination over Sanders who would have beaten her in a vote.

Irony, how does it taste Hillary?

No she didn't.....she won a couple of blue cities.

The rest of the country fucking hated her so god damn much they went with Trump.

This is it in a nutshell.

Hillary was the only candidate the Dems could have come up with that couldn't beat Trump. That election was a testament to how despicable and loathsome she was that people voted for his idiot because he wasn't her.

As for the 'popular' vote, Trump had over 60 million votes, she should have won in an absolute landslide, if she were anyone but her.

And the dems still haven't learned. They won't tell her to shut the fuck up and get out of the spotlight and stop whining and yammering. She's the reason its a GOP majority. You'd think they'd realize that.

Well you dip shits wanted Trump and you got him.

And now you are going to watch the House go Blue and when things change - like Schiff running the Intelligence Committee - it will be a new ball game for your boy.

Apparently not that red...not that blue either.

Yes, the individual mandate came straight from the Heritage Foundation. It was their answer to Hillary’s health care plan.

All them Mainers need to do is put that Maine lobster on the plate. They can be as rednecked as they want as long they do that one thing. :D

You can buy my vote with a lobster roll any day of the week.

Hillary got more votes than Sanders and it wasn't especially close. Where do you people get this stuff?

The final margin in PA-18 was 641 votes, or 0.28 percent. Landslide Lamb. And I believe that after some close calls, this is the first House seat that has flipped since Trump became Tweeter-in-Chief, so it's a milestone.

So Pennsylvania Republicans gerrymandered their state so noticeably that the Supreme Court demanded a redraw, and still lost an election with the old map. Sucks to be them.

Think what you want, but this guy didn't run in a Democrat primary. He ran against Pelosi and the present Democrat leadership. He's a moderate Democrat who will be swept into the shit can by his own party if he actually wins. The Democrat Party is a progressive party that at present is removing moderate democrats like they were a plague. Lamb didn't run against Trump. He ran against gun control. He actually ran as a Republican in doctrine.
