Tonight, Pennsylvania will tell us everything re: Republicans & Trump

Really? I did not know that. I’m gonna go look that up.

Sounds like a lot more absentee ballots sent to residence Allegheny County than the others.

Makes sense: it's the Dem part of the district, and the Dems are the ones with the enthusiasm.

3206 absentee ballots to count!

So they would have to break 2000 to 1200 for Saccone to wipe out the lead? That would be beyond what he's done in the same-day vote, so that's unlikely but possible.

I guess they are going to count the absentee ballots in all but one Greene County which has the smallest number out there.

The Allegheny absentee ballots is where his last bump came from. I’m not as confident as you are.

They've decided they'll count them all within the next few hours instead of waiting. Good call.

Yeah . . .

Like a guy who runs as a rabid Pro-Lifer, and then gets caught urging his mistress to get an abortion once he's in office

I haven't really followed this and can't spell or pronounce the name of the Republican candidate, who looks like a real loser. I understand the Democrat is distancing himself from Nancy Pelosi, so he's not totally batshit crazy, but a lot of Democrats act sane before the election and then forget they were for borders and the 2nd Amendment once they get elected.

3 hours for Washington County to count their 1195 ballots.

I just watched Kornacki’s breakdown, and that gives me more hope. He basically said what you did WE.

I didn't realize there were still a couple of election night precincts out there. That cut the margin to 579, which is still probably too big a hurdle for Saccone, when you factor in that there were certainly absentee ballots requested that were not returned. I would guess the final Lamb margin, pre-recount, will be 300 or so.

Yeah, that data geek in me wants to know what precincts they are, and I didn’t see that anywhere. There are some very blue pockets in Westmoreland.

Now all we have to do is get rid of people like Pelosi. And we will.

Bottom line....in a plus 20 Trump District...Donald Trump can't bring the votes.

And the tidal wave continues.

Tidal wave?

LOL more like barely eeking it out.

If PA is an indicator of anything it's that the slam dunk major blue backlash from the 300 million ardent Leninist Socialist you like to think populate the USA.....ain't happening.

Shows you how much you know about the District he won. Just like you know so little about everything else. Let me make it simple for you.

Donald Trump won this district by 20

And historically, this has been a very very very red district

Although there are 70,000 more Democrats in the district than Republicans, the district has trended increasingly Republican since the mid-1990s; most of the district's state legislators are Republicans.

If 70,000 more democrats can't get out and vote, I'd say this isn't looking too great for 2018.

If the dems want to keep running on the same tired platforms and if they keep alienating working class voters, they're going to under-perform again.

If they don't push for single-payer health care, and pander to the middle like they tend to, they're going to fuck it up again just like last time.

http://electionreturns.pa.gov at this very moment says:

LAMB, CONOR (DEM) 49.83% Votes: 113,111
SACCONE, RICHARD (REP) 49.57% Votes: 112,532
MILLER, DREW GRAY (LIB) 0.6% Votes: 1,372

579 votes difference between Lamb and Sacrificial Lamb er I mean Saccone. From who did Miller draw votes?

Nope...you know even less. You win by running in the middle. Change happens over time. No Democrat can win on a national level if they push the agenda you support. I think a single payer system is the way of the future...but there is zero chance of shoving it down people's throats. Did you not learn anything from ACA? Obviously not.

actually, the thing is there's always more democrats than republicans. see lit and the many notrepublicans who always vote republican. that's pretty much a common thing. they like to think of themselves as rugged individualists beholden to no one even as they march in lock step like good little automatons.

So you're going to win an election by playing to the middle, huh?

How'd that work out for Hillary Clinton?

So, all the conservative media outlets are prolly now throwing away their clever "broiled Lamb" puns they were going to overuse, I reckon...:D

Hillary was the problem. Better than a known socialist Bernie.

Edit: And Mr Daily is going to win by alienating Independents:rolleyes:

I'm just waiting for Herr Drumpf's tweet explaining it all away. Maybe he'll tweet about firing McMaster first.
