The man is certifiable
Trump to donors today spinning out fantasies in real time:
“The young man last night that ran, he said, ‘Oh, I’m like Trump. [NO] Second Amendment, everything [Since when is that you?]. I love the tax cuts, everything [No, he ran against the tax cuts].’ He ran on that basis [pure lie],” Trump said at a fundraiser in Missouri on Wednesday, according The Atlantic. “He ran on a campaign that said very nice things about me. [Delusional] I said, ‘Is he a Republican? He sounds like a Republican to me. [No, you called him Lamb the Sham]’”
Exactly.
Lamb is a CONSERVATIVE DEMOCRAT
Not a deplorable shitstain like Trump, Moore, Pence, Santorum, Saccone, Ryan, etal...
Do you all remember that there is such a thing as a Conservative Democrat?
He's pro life and pro guns.
Interesting fact: a lot of money for the campaigns came from sources outside the districts. Lamb was the beneficiary of 2.6 million outside dollars to help him win. Saccone collected over four times as much, 10.7 million outside dollars, and lost.
Now that's 10.7 million dollars that won't be available to help other campaigns later this year. Even with their tax breaks, a lot of Republican donors are going to balk at tossing out more money after this.
This race was 50/50. Go look at the results and try to honestly say differently. It's so close it's a political photo finish. That doesn't say anything about a rejection of Trump or R's or an embrace of D's. It means that the electorate was equally divided on the issues. You can say "but Trump won by 20 points" and that would be true. But Saccone isn't Trump so what Trump did is irrelevant to THIS race. That's the equivalent of saying that Nixon won by yada yada yada and Obama...
I'll try this one more time even though you seem unusually obtuse. Let's say Nancy Pelosi's seat were to come open, and it was somehow narrowly won by a Republican in a reaction against a corrupt and incompetent Democrat in the White House. If various Dems came on here to say "Hey, it was 50/50 and we almost won, so this doesn't prove a single thing," neither you nor anyone with a brain would find that persuasive.
This is the same thing. This is not a district where a Democrat could ever win outside of something that really shakes up politics. PA-18 is, among other things, one of the whitest districts in the entire country.
But by all means, keep believing the vote Tuesday, and the defeat of the man who campaigned as "I was Trump before Trump was Trump," had nothing whatsoever to do with the president.

Yeah, a Democrat winning a gerrymandered seat held by Republicans since the 90s doesn’t say anything about Democrats or Republicans, silly!
Well then tell us smartmouth, what does it say about races in California? Utah? North Dakota?
C'mon, you know all the answers, unpack them for the rest of us. Rub that crystal ball.
*eeny meeny, chili beany*
I do. I'm even old enough to remember when there were liberal Republicans.
Look, all men are “personally against” abortions, with exceptions for some trans men, they can’t have one! He believes abortions should be legal, end of story.
I'm not.
Nope.....![]()
