There is no process except that someone else needs to know something has been declassified. The process for that is that the President needs to inform someone that he has declassified the thing..
At least if a tree falls in the forest, there is evidence of it happening.

Trump's staff have said out loud that they were told to take boxes of documents from Mar y Lardo to Bedlington just before the FBI raid (and after the Chinese spy who had been visiting there had gone home).
Nothing suspicious, some of the documents had been kept in a storage room with chairs and pool noodles, others had been in boxes with old golf balls, shoes and jackets for security purposes.

I keep wondering how you could post this and not know that the Penn Biden Center did the same thing. Or that the FBI gave Biden's lawyers a heads up before they searched Biden's house. Or that Biden kept classified docs in a box the garage.
The best one is where the FBI gave notice they were going to search and Biden's lackeys secretly moved boxes in the dead of night before the agents got there.
All of the above happened.
And yet you seem to know none of it.

Biden did take documents home to work on. Then he sent them back again.
Trump took documents home to boast to his golf-buddies. The FBI gave Trump a heads-up, so he sent some documents to Bedlington.

The best explanation is there is a two-tiered system of justice in America. Basically the federal law enforcement apparatus is a protection racket for Democrats and a Ministry for State Security (Stasi) for everyone else.
