Tourism: I saw something on Facebook.

Still seeing Canadians here in Minnesota, but we’re neighbors and have sanctuary cities
Or they didn't want to lose money on bookings they'd already paid for, maybe.

Minnesota's blue. A lot of tourists there come from my area. Many people I know are still going to Minneapolis/St. Paul since they've booked already. The drop there will take a bit longer since people are now booking elsewhere. Myself, we went down for the last visit with my brother in January. We won't be back.
Normally we went down 12 times a year. Sure it's only for a lunch that's $50 bucks, which is $600.00 a year, plus the gas and other shit you buy. Times that by 1000 others (or more) and the section between Pigeon river and Duluth is losing out on 600K.

@Noor

I'd agree, this might explain his seeming fucked up understand of reality. I wonder if subsidises it with some of that imported Canadian fentanyl?
In theory that makes sense, but I don't think he can afford it. He does not seem to be able to afford the $180-ish Medicare premium each month, and brags about his 'VA coverage'. He's already said he has a chronic birth defect, which is not a "service connected disability' so he doesn't qualify for Priority 1, 2 or 3 VA medical coverage (unless he has earned the Medal of Honor, which is highly unlikely). He says he's not in a wheelchair yet so he doesn't qualify for Priority 4 (catastrophic injury). My guess is he gets his VA drugs under Priority 5 (Homeless, chronically poor, financially incapable of supporting himself) or Priority 7 (Below average income, $30 copay).

Damn your healthcare system is fucked up. No wonder it's so expensive to run.

The food reviews aren't outstanding... But hotels have a bit of a captive audience 🤷‍♀️
I think the sweet spot is places that fit 20 - 60 customers. Any bigger and you can taste more production line than love.
We stopped at a smaller place on Carnaby street to have a bite to eat but I don't remember the name.

I find it pretty funny how some people let their politicians tell them who they should hate. :)
Here, in the U.S. Democrat Central Command gives marching orders to the crazy, Trans, and criminal elements.

Republicans are a weird group. The entire party is fueled by simmering rage.

Against blacks. Against immigrants. Against women. Against trans people. Take away their rage and they got nothing.
How many Republicans are assaulting Democrats and burning down their places of business?

What did you make of London?
I rarely visit, because it's a bit of a sensory overload, but it's always an interesting experience.

Actually, I liked it for its historical places. I visited the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, parts of London, and the Riverfront. I didn't have the time to see the British Museum or the Imperial War Museum. I might go back just to do that.

That's probably the dumbest thing I've seen posted today...but it's early. :)
