The food almost proved fatal! The ceremony was at a family place, so we expected tapas. We imagined a few nibbles, the local ham, etc. We didn't expect tapas,, pork chops and multiple sides. People were bursting! The main meal we expected was 3 courses, but turned out to be 7. Every time another course appeared, people were , but then it was too delicious to resist. The legs were large servings, but small legs... I imagine they were very young. But, unlike American dining, the Spanish enjoy slow food. We arrived at 8 and didn't leave until gone midnight.

I'll probably dream about that lamb on my deathbed.

Mrs Saroukos told news.com.au that she arrived with her mother to Daneil K Inouye International Airport for a routine three-week holiday when things took a sharp turn at the customs desk.

Mrs Saroukos said she was handcuffed, subjected to an in-depth cavity search and marched through the airport in full view of the public before being driven to a federal detention facility where she spent the night.

She was then put on a flight back to Australia the following day.
